Does the name “Su***de Cliff” scares you?

Don’t be, it’s just a folklore name for its precarious nature. Despite its name, Su***de Cliff offers breathtaking panoramic views of Hong Kong's skylines, Victoria Harbour and surrounding landscapes. The trail involves steep ascents, rocky sections, and exposed areas requiring caution and proper hiking gear.

To get there: Head your way to Choi Hung MTr station Exit C2 and take green minibus bus 1A. Drop off at FEI NGO Shan road. The first junction to the left is the start of the hiking trail.

Will you hike here?

It's the best place to take in sweeping views of the Hong Kong cityscape, offering a 180-degree travel snapshot of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island across the famous Victoria Harbor.
The term "the Spirit of Lion Rock" was coined to symbolize the perseverance and solidarity of the city.

OUR ROUTE:

2. Take green minibus 18M and get off at the Fat Jong Temple and walk up along the Shatin Pass Road for about 20 minutes. (
Start of the hike )
3. Enter through the Lion Rock archway entrance gate and then just follow the signs from that point on to Lion Rock on the well-defined trail.

Hong Kong is as well-known for its picturesque skyscrapers and skylines as it is for catching stunning views of beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

And, Braemer Hill sunset over Hong Kong is always my favourite. Braemar Hill is one of the most peaceful places with several vantage points to enjoy the sunset, experience its beauty from.

One day trip to Tung Ping Chau, an island at Hong Kong's northeastern edge, is renowned for its unique triangular shape, a geological wonder sculpted by years of erosion and wave action.
Its vividly colored sedimentary rock layers, ranging from bright yellows to striking reds, are a testament to the varied mineral deposits laid down over millennia.
This stunning natural mosaic not only captures the island's dynamic geological history but also paints a vivid picture of nature's artistic prowess.

Visitors can travel by MTR East Rail and get off at the University Station, Exit B, then walk for about 15 minutes to Ma Liu Shui Ferry Pier for the kaito ferry service to Tung Ping Chau. Ferry costs 100hkd for a round trip. Normal ferry boat traveling is 1 hour.

A symbol of enlightenment. 🤍

The Big Buddha turns to be the major landmark of Hong Kong. This bronze statue is 26.4 meters tall (34 meters with the bottom alter) and weighs 250 metric tons altogether.

The Big Buddha is at the top of 268-steps stairs. The climbing of the stairs is to reflect the followers’ faith, sincere and respect who would like to see and pray in front of Shakyamuni. After all, it’s a place for contemplation and a source of inspiration, not just a touristy place.

Getting there: Head your way to Tung Chung MTR
Exit B. From the station you have these options:
Take Bus No.23 or No. 11, take a taxi, or ride the Ngong Ping Cable Car.

Top 5 Major Attractions at Cape D’ Aguilar Marine Reserve

✅CRAB CAVE
Crab Cave, a name given by its arch-shaped appearance that resembles a crab. With the view of the ocean and the waves from under the arch, it’s no surprise that the Crab Cave is the most popular photo spot for Instagram lovers.

✅VIEWPOINT
Picturesque spot overlooking Cape D’ Aguilar peninsula where the lighthouse stands.

✅LIGHTHOUSE
The Cape D’Aguilar Lighthouse is one of the oldest surviving lighthouse in Hong Kong, put into service in 1875.
It is surprisingly well-mentained with a white granite tower.

✅THUNDER CAVE
A narrow opening between the rocks that opens up to the sea on the other side. Once inside the cave, enjoy the thunderous sounds of the waves crashing against the rocks.

✅MISS W***Y WHALE SKELETON
Locals said Miss W***y a female killer whale (orca) who was a captive performer at Ocean Park until her death in 1997, or a juvenile Bryde’s whale who was found stranded in Victoria Harbour in 1995. Either way, it’s still an impressive sight to behold.
Unfortunately, the bones haven’t been protected from natural elements such as the sun and winds and aren’t in the best condition. They’re pretty badly battered.
