Nice cozy Omakase restaurant located in Markham. Amazing that free parking is available, not like some downtown Toronto restaurants that need to pay for parking.

The ingredients used for this meal are fresh and luxurious. I had heard of one of the Japanese food delicacies, Shirako（白子）which is the milt or s***m sacs of male cod, this was the first time I tried it. It tasted smooth and creamy, I imagined it would taste fishy but it wasn’t. Maybe because it’s served with a citrusy sauce. Good starter and I also love all the chef’s choice sushi! My favourites were the botan ebi sushi topped with uni and the salmon roe sushi. The chef put a touch of lemon zest on top of the salmon roe sushi. It turned out really refreshing and brought out the sweetness of the roe, dismissed the unpleasant fishy flavour that it may have. There’s one item I didn’t like was the fish bone soup as it’s a bit fishy. Other than that I enjoyed this omakase meal with delicious menu and the great performance of sushi making from the chef. 😋🫶🏼

[REVIEW] Bluehive Slim Tracker, Item Finder

Have you ever lost your wallet and have no clue where you left it behind? This happened to me once. I panicked and went to the stores I have been to, went to the police station to report it, also suspended the credit cards. Luckily that staff of one of the stores I shopped at actually kept it safe for me and I got to reunited with my wallet the day after. If it’s not used for my wallet, I would put it in my car for tracking purposes. This is definitely the best AirTag alternative.

The wintery weather got me thinking of this yummy clay pot rice meal I had in Hong Kong. The weather was so hot when I was there, like 30 degrees of the difference to Toronto today’s temperature, but I need to try this popular restaurant that serves great old school clay pot rice.

There is food that I can’t get the same taste here in Toronto, one is the chicken, another one is the Chinese sausage. The chicken tasted fresher and the texture of the meat was more bouncy and silky. Could be the kind of the chicken and the way they were raised, also the technique they use to cooked it. It just so delicious 🤤🫶🏼 The seasoning of the Chinese sausage was just right with fragrant wine taste and in great texture too. Yummy 😋

This could be the best buffet I ever had! Very luxurious and very delicious. Hong Kong offers amazing buffet options, where so many great restaurants and hotels have buffet in different themes and cuisines. This one I had was all about crabs that is one of my favourite food. 🤤 love the baked stuffed crab, the fresh oysters, the red shrimp sashimi. The durian cheese tart was the dessert to die for. 🔥🔥🔥

One of my favourite best meals in Hong Kong! Local friends brought us to the indoor wet market at Sheung Shui to get fresh seafood and then bring them right upstairs to the dai pai d**g to cook them for us. It was a very authentic experience for visiting Hong Kong to have different seafood that I might not be able to get fresh here in Toronto. I caught the boat to try the Hairy Crab as it was the start of the season. The roe of the crab tasted like egg yolk and that’s the main part to enjoy this little crab. But of course I didn’t throw the body away although it’s the least enjoyable thing to eat crabs. 😆 All the food was so delicious and fresh! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 My favourite was the jumbo shrimp, which was cooked perfectly with the right amount of seasoning and I rarely see shrimps that big and meaty. Yummy 😋😍

This is what I would like to have on a hot day 😋🫶🏼 I can’t believe the weather still warm in November. 🫣 It feels like 22 degrees today in Toronto. Not as hot as the weather when I was in Hong Kong, which was close to 30 degrees, but still pretty unusual. How you gonna enjoy the warm weather? 😎☀️

[BUFFET] 香港迪士尼樂園 Disneyland HK Explorer’s Semi-buffet Dinner

What a wonderful experience at Hong Kong Disneyland to infuse into the Halloween spirit. We watched the Halloween themed parade and took pictures with the decorations. Also there was trick or treating stations around. Ended the day with delicious food and front row tickets to see the fireworks. I highly recommend this semi-buffet + designated fireworks viewing area wristband that it takes care of the dinner and no need to worry about getting a nice spot early to view the fireworks.

The food was excellent! The sea bass I ordered for my entree cooked perfectly and the ingredients were very fresh. For the semi-buffet, it’s included bottomless beverages, decent variety of appetizers and lovely looking yummy desserts. Nothing to complain about the dinner and extraordinary experience for the fireworks. We were standing so close that we had to tilt our heads up to see the fireworks. 😆

*MEOW* 😸 Happy Halloween 🎃 *MEOW*

Went to this cozy cat cafe in Hong Kong that’s the home of about 20 cats. I love cats and I love to visit cat cafes, which is not easy to find in Toronto. 🥹

Their food was sooooo cute ❤️😻The bread of the sandwich and the toast was in cat shape. They were just too cute to be eaten. I had the black tea which was very refreshing and flavourful. The cute cat shaped bottle came home with me. 😁

Definitely a magical experience at Hong Kong Disneyland! They are having a Halloween themed buffet and it’s so much fun to have dinner there. If you love Disney everything, you got to eat here! Really put a big smile on my face even though I am not a big fan of Disney. 😆 So happy that my friend Amy brought me there 😘 I am glad that I went for it when my friend told me about this buffet I thought it’s just for kids, but I can’t believe how much I enjoyed it! 😋👍🏼

This is a very traditional tofu store I visit every time I am in Hong Kong. It’s located in the North Point wet market where I go there with grannies when I was little. Pot stickers tasted pretty much the same good deliciously. 😋🫶🏼 yum yum

Went to one of the oldest dim sum restaurants remaining in Hong Kong. Love the vibrant atmosphere here. It’s weekend and it’s busy, you probably won’t be here for relaxation. 😆 Food was good, especially the har gow. It’s made in very traditional way; bite sized, with chewy skin and bamboo shoots in the filling. 😋

This was a perfect meal! All of the dishes were so delicious! 🤤 Squid was so fresh, super crispy & cooked perfectly. Sweet & Sour spare ribs were also so crispy with perfectly seasoned sauce. It’s the first time I had goose intestines and can’t believe I didn’t try it before. I probably just had the best one, it’s with great crunchy texture, not too salty and seasoned well. So yummy 🔥🔥🔥 No regret to come all the way to here from Toronto to eat all these delicious food 😋

[ Goodfood ] Asian Shrimp Tacos

After about 2 months of trying goodfood, I have to say it’s my favourite meal kit. I love the great portion size which is the most generous among the meal kit I’ve tried. The recipes are good and delicious but could be better on estimating the cooking time. I would also like to see less plastic bags used to be better for the environment. Also like that they don’t just have meal kits also got some food items like salads, meat, vegetables and fruit to add to your order so you technically don’t need to get groceries when you are super busy. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I love soufflé pancakes 🫶🏼 yummy 😋 This little cafe is always busy even on a weekday. 🔥🔥🔥 Food was delicious! The moffle (mochi waffle) was so tasty with a little chewy texture. Yum yum 🤤

Love the quality of the food from Eataly. 🫶🏼 This meal was yummy except the pasta, it’s super salty, just like the one I had in Italy. 😅 Maybe they wanna keep the authenticity. 😆

This new location is pretty small compared to the other ones. Kind of sad they don’t have the fresh pasta section here that I love. But it got all the basic items you need to cook a tasty Italian meal or get the ready to eat items to satisfy your cravings. 😋

The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. The crispy calamari was lightly breaded and not greasy. They put mayo in the bruschetta that given that creaminess which was different than the traditional Italian version. Salmon cooked perfectly, a tad rare on the inside, it’s juicy and tender. Ended the dinner with a super delicious warm toffee pudding as the dessert. 🤤🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

It’s our second Summerlicious dinner of this year, a great evening to explore the city. Always love smoked bbq meat, however, they didn’t put them in the summerlicious menu. Will go back to try them, also will stay for the live show next time. 🔥🔥🔥

It’s so good! 🤤 The crispy fried dough sandwich the soft & chewy mochi in between, topped with salty egg yolk crumbs & pork floss + chopped peanut, sesame & sugar. I love the savory & sweet taste of it! It is one of the items I would come back for. 😍 Really like that everything was seasoned just right without heavy seasonings, I can taste the natural flavour of the fresh ingredients.
