Mercer Boarini has gained numerous recognitions throughout her career, including “Top Bartender in Las Vegas” and “Top 10 Female Bartenders in the World”. Renowned for her attention to detail and consistently challenging herself to create new experiences for guests of Wynn, she will soon reveal a new collection of drinks for a number of bars and restaurants at Wynn in Macau, commencing with Wing Lei Bar at Wynn Palace as well as Bar Cristal and Cinnebar at Wynn Macau in September. Mercer Boarini pours a great deal of thought into every single drink she designs. She draws inspiration from the beautiful interiors of each locale; showcases her molecular magic with cham feign foams, showstopping garnishes and liquid nitrogen flourishes.

Alice Pizza, the celebrated leader in Roman teglia pizza and named among the Top Pizzerias in Italy 2023 by esteemed rating platform Gambero Rosso, brings its rectangular, pan-baked recipe to Hong Kong in early September, in buzzing Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. True to Rome’s heritage of deliciously thin, light and crispy pizza sold ‘al taglio’ (by the cut), most of the ingredients used are imported from Italy for the brand’s first franchise in Asia.

Unveiled in Hong Kong by prime brand distributor and pioneers of luxury Bluebell Group, Alice Pizza is a master of Roman pan (teglia) pizza, which goes into the oven in large rectangular baking tins and emerges within 10 minutes to be served ‘al taglio’ – cut into pieces and sold by weight. It has sold 7 million kg of pizza since opening in 1989, and through its artisanal excellence and entrepreneurial ingenuity became Italy’s first pizza chain.

Originally consumed as street food by workers on the go, this easy-to-buy and convenient-to-eat ‘al taglio’ style of pizza was invented in Rome and is now common throughout Italy. Freshly baked pizzas are cut according to each individual’s preferred size and quantity, and purchased per gram or kilo. This tradition allows more flavours to be enjoyed at one time in a true pizza-tasting experience, whether solo or shared with family and friends.

The popular international chain, which now embraces almost 200 pizzerias in Italy and beyond, was founded by Domenico Giovannini in Via delle Grazie at the edge of Vatican City in central Rome.

麗思卡爾頓酒店近日宣佈在日本南部九州的福岡麗思卡爾頓酒店正式開幕。酒店位於樓高111米的大名花園城（Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City）綜合大樓的主樓內，是福岡市中心商務區內最高的城市生活綜合建築。可俯瞰整個福岡市的福岡麗思卡爾頓酒店，將品牌無與倫比的服務及現代美學帶到這個發展速度最快的城市之一。福岡以其生機勃勃的創業精神、悠久歷史、傳統工藝及豐富多元的美食文化而遠近馳名。

福岡麗思卡爾頓酒店進駐的玻璃大樓樓高25層，由東京株式會社久米設計公司（Kume Sekkei）負責設計。酒店的室內設計則由來自澳洲墨爾本的 Layan Architects + Designers 主理，靈感源自福岡絲綢及和服的傳統色織工藝，亦稱為「博多織」（Hakata-ori）。酒店的整體設計概念貫穿每個空間，包括屏風、雕塑擺設、繪畫裝飾及由當地工匠打造的紡織品等，均展示了設計師的設計理念。另外，從酒店可飽覽玄界灘（Genkai Sea）及群山環繞的壯麗景色，為賓客帶來靜謐愜意的體驗。

酒店於大樓的19至23樓共設有167間面積達50平方米的客房，其中包括20間面積由75平方米起的套房。賓客可透過福岡天際線客房（Fukuoka Skyline rooms）居高臨下欣賞城市全景、從公園景觀客房（Park View rooms）將大濠公園綠意盎然的景緻盡收眼底，或從海灣景觀客房（Bay View rooms）遠眺各種船隻往來交會的博多灣。

Hyatt Centric Kota Kinabalu located in the heart of the city’s lively dining and entertainment district, offers an experiential stay for savvy travelers and residents alike, from adventure seekers to culture vultures. Embedding the beauty of Sabah’s pristine nature in its interiors and featuring an extensive work of art by local artisans.

Drawing inspiration from Mother Nature, the hotel was designed with two natural elements of Sabah topography in mind with a mix of lush green forests and the rocky mountains. Using tree as the primary design metaphor, Kengo Kuma creatively applies its elements throughout the hotel’s different spaces in this 23-story hotel - the open hotel lobby represents the roots of the tree with dense lower greenery showcasing bamboo trees and calming water feature, while the hotel guest room floors depict the vertical lines of a tree trunk, and the rooftop area serves as the crown of the tree offering unobstructed views of the horizon and cityscape, using natural light to create dramatic shadows and colors.

On the guest room floors, signage made of seashell adorns the walls while a pair of sculptured lounge seating signifies both the mountain and the sea. Inspired by the local traditional Kadazan Dusun’s culture of Sabah, vibrant and colorful hand-woven pieces and patterns are on display throughout the guest room floors and corridors.
