Here at Ants Media Asia we believe that stories should have a beginning, a middle and an end. So much video content is just thrown together these days in the hope of 'saying something'.

Shoot it, edit it, pick some music & some bright text. Post now, go, go, go. The race to get it out there. Don't worry about the framing, don't worry about a script, don't worry about the sound.

But you should worry about the framing and the script and the sound.

If anyone is interested in how the Financial Times views Hong Kong's future as a financial centre this is well worth watching. Great to be out and about shooting in the CBD again, this time on our Panasonic EVA.

Ants Media Asia supplied a camera crew for the presenters links and captured the Hong Kong b-roll video content. 4K footage was uploaded via FTP the same day from our Hong Kong hub direct to London for editing by FT Films.

Early in the pandemic we had an idea to show how Kellett School, The British International School in Hong Kong were taking precautions to protect their staff & students at the start of covid.

We produced a short video feature story that was shared widely on social media generating great publicity for the whole school.

ENG camera operators wanted in the following locations. Minimum 5 years experience required and must have worked with presenters and executives of all levels.

Ideally we want people that are confident enough to guide talent in the delivery of their short presentations.

It you think it can be done a bit better ‘one more time’ and are happy to say that, then that’s the type of operators we want.

Should be ok with working half days, doing short marcomms shoots for a decent rate.

Basic kit required for these jobs. Camera, lapel or boom microphone, 1 light, tripod.

Only need apply if you live near or in a CBD - our gigs are in the CBD so we won t be paying travel.
