QUICK AND EASY HIKE TODAY TO END MY 2024! From POK FU LAM following Pok FuLam Reservoir Road all the way up to THE PEAK!

PHOTOS TAKEN YESTERDAY DECEMBER 30, the "PINK TRUMPET TREES" are still in bloom! Lining along Sai Sha Road at Ma On Shan.
HOW TO GET THERE 👇follow the green mark.
✅️Take MTR to WU KAI SHA STATION
✅️Exit at EXIT B, go straight a bit and head right to the bus terminal.
✅️Take bus 99 (Sai Kung route) and get off at "MA KWU LAM" bus stop! (photo of the bus stop below).
✅️ From the bus stop, you'll see the "PINK TRUMPET TRESS" on both sides of Sai Sha Road. You arrived! Take lots of photos! The flowers bloom won't last long so take the chance while they're still there!
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE
✅️Take 299X bus from mtr SHATIN STATION bus terminal and alight at "MA KWU LAM" bus stop.

Perfect spot to view the sunset, I recommend TAI MO SHAN, the highest peak in Hong Kong. Day view of this hike is also captivating! Sharing photos of my solo sunset hike at Tai Mo Shan Peak last Saturday, November 30, 2024. Easy hike good for beginners, I hiked 1 hour 37 minutes going up to the peak with little breaks. Exactly 1 hour hiking down with no breaks.

KAM KUI SHEK TENG - another beautiful hiking trail located at Sai Kung East Country Park, Sai Kung, Hong Kong. I've been planning to hike there for a while but the cloudy, smoggy skies and uncertain weather delayed me of doing so. This time, I took the chance. It was my first time and I love the hike already! 😍😍 EASY HIKE good for beginners, I considered it SHORT HIKE specially I went back down to my starting point. You can also end your hike or make it longer by hiking other trails around depending on your plans. NGONG PING PLATEAU - Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong. Located within Ma On Shan Country Park, it is administrative part of Sha Tin District. The mountain along the view point is PYRAMID HILL. Great location for camping or having picnic. It is also a famous spot used for paragliding landing and take-off.
Easy hike along Ma On Shan Country Trail to reach the viewing point, the trail is well maintained, full of signages.
