Heartfelt Gratitude to Our Amazing Supporters in the United States and Egypt, Especially Cairo!

I am writing with immense gratitude and joy to express our deepest thanks to all the incredible individuals who made our recent initiative possible. Your generosity and hard work have truly made a difference in the lives of many. We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from the United States, and we want to give special recognition to the remarkable efforts from our friends in Egypt, particularly in the vibrant city of Cairo.

Thanks to your contributions and dedication sent to the women and men of Gaza

🚚 A Special Journey through Egypt 🚚

Our team is working tirelessly to ensure the smooth transportation of these essential items to Gaza, and your collective efforts have made this mission possible. The truck, laden with scarves and Abayas, will soon travel through Egypt, carrying not just clothing but also the love and solidarity of compassionate hearts from around the world.

🙏 A Bittersweet Reality: The Disappointment of Unequal Contributions 🙏

However, amidst this joy, it is important to acknowledge a bittersweet reality. We reached out to various segments of society, including the affluent and business communities, in the hopes of garnering support. Unfortunately, the response was not as we anticipated. It's disheartening to report that the majority of contributions came from the less privileged, while those who could afford to make a significant impact chose not to contribute a single dollar, scarf, or abaya.

This reality highlights the resilience and compassion of the less fortunate, who, despite their own challenges, extended a helping hand to their sisters in need. While we celebrate the success of our initiative, let us also reflect on the disparities in contributions and consider how we can collectively bridge these gaps in the future.

October marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness and supporting those impacted by breast cancer. At AzadiDesigns, we stand in solidarity with survivors, fighters, and their loved ones, offering our unwavering support during this crucial month.

I am so fed up with the constant blackouts from Guyana Power and Light (GPL). They are incompetent and unable to provide a reliable service. These blackouts are damaging my appliances and causing me to lose money. I am not the only one who is affected. Many businesses have been losing jobs and clients due to missed deadlines.

I am calling on GPL to take immediate action to address this problem. They need to invest in new infrastructure and equipment, improve their maintenance and repair procedures, and communicate better with customers about upcoming blackouts. They should also provide compensation to customers who have suffered losses due to blackouts.

Please share this post to raise awareness of this issue and urge GPL to take action.
