JOIN VOG on 102.5 FM|| One Monday 10th April 2023 for a special episode of the Pageant Panel @13:00hrs, As we bring you interviews with the Delegates of the Miss Bartica Regatta Pageant.
The Delegates and organizers of the Miss. Bartica Regatta Pageant were Guests of the Pageant Panel with Gabřellé Atherley, on the Voice of Guyana. The pageant will be held at the Bartica Centre Ground on Easter Monday, April 10th 2023.

Oral Welshman and Launce Northe sat with us on VOG with Gabrelle Atherley on Tuesday April 4, 2023, both directors at the Laramady Musical Theater of New York. The duo shared info on hosting a 1 day Master Class in modeling and pageantry.
The pageant Panel hosted the Miss Guyana Teen with a Purpose Queen Akilah Fredericks, who returned to tell us of her journey after being crowned.
The voice of Guyana welcomed the Hutson Family who join us for Local Literature as we presented the youngest author so far Mr Yeshua Hutson and his Novel "Tales from the Grip"
Jared McPhoy is the author of "By Grace Through Faith: A journey of Self discovery" He is a feature for a new program Arrowhead Authors and listeners can hear a part of the novel, on Local Literature ep.6 on April 15th, 2023 at 8:15 am on the VOICE OF GUYANA (VOG) 102.5FM.
IQ Studios is doing a Radio Tour showcasing a new Riddim called 'Greatness' and they Started on The AFTERNOON MEDLEY. There are 22 songs on the riddim.

March 23 is World Meteorological Day, a day that showcases the contribution of National Meteorological and Hydrological Services worldwide and commemorates the 150th anniversary of the World Meteorological Organization.
Our weather, climate and water cycle will be different in future than in the past. Weather, climate and hydrological services will help us tackle the associated challenges and seize the opportunities.
World Down Syndrome Day is observed on March 21 yearly.
The 21st day of the 3rd month signifies the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down Syndrome.
The Voice of Guyana (VOG) team joins the world in observance of International Day of the Forest under the theme: "Forests and Health".
International Day of Forests highlights the importance of forests to human existence, as it contributes to our health. They purify the water, clean the air, and capture carbon to fight climate change. The forests also give us food and medicines and improve our well-being.
Miss Mash Queen 2023 Miriam Alexander appeared today on The Pageant Panel, a VOG feature with host Gabrelle Atherley.
The Pageant Panel is Broadcast on Mondays and Fridays at 13:30 hours.
World Consumer Rights Day is observed globally every year on March 15, as a means of raising awareness about consumer rights, needs and protection.
The theme this year, "Empowering Consumers Through Clean Energy Transitions" aims to raise awareness of consumer empowerment and push their role for a faster clean energy transition.
March 13, 2023 marks 110 years since the death of the 15 Rose Hall Martyrs who were sugar workers killed by colonial police during a protest for better working conditions.
The 15 that paid the ultimate price were:
Motey Khan 26, Badri 26, Lalji 45, Durga 72, Sadulla 23, Bholay 33, Hulas 25, Sarjoo 21, Jugai 30, Nibur 75, Sohan 33, Gafur 27, Juggoo 37, Roopan 25 and the lone female, Gobindei, 32.
56 others were injured.

This year the observances are on the 13th Day of November, 2022. At the end of World War II in 1945, Armistice Day was renamed Remembrance Day or Remembrance Sunday and is observed on the first or second Sunday of November. The poppies worn by persons are part of the Poppy Appeal launched annually to ensure that those who made the sacrifice in the two Great Wars (1914- 1918) and (1939 – 1945) are remembered. British Guianese soldiers served and fought in the wars in Egypt, France, Belgium, and East Africa.
