It’s always a pleasure to work with Amel Sigourney Griffith on projects.

Amel’s most recent piece was based on Cancer as she presented a young woman’s plea for survival.

This piece was apart of her suit of performances done at the recently concluded Miss Carnival Caribbean Pageant as our local representative.

Quissieana, you have grown through the process and is quite an amazing individual who has so much more to offer than just beauty.

Her talent piece was created with her in mind and presented a Guyanese woman sharing her struggle to understand the younger generation as she compared herself to them.

The piece drew on talent, drama and humour as her presentation was done in Guyanese creole to paint the true picture of our local culture in all its glory.

In the piece, the teen character presents her situation of being pregnant in a society that is negatively critical towards her. However she manages to recall fond memories, engage in self-introspection and at the same time presents valuable advice to listening parents and teens not only in the community of Bartica but globally. A true case of Peer Advocacy.
