Here are 7 powerful lessons from the book Good Boundaries and Goodbyes

1. Boundaries are not selfish. Boundaries are essential for healthy relationships. They protect us from being used, manipulated, or taken advantage of.

2. We can set boundaries with love. Boundaries are not about punishing others or making them feel bad. They are about setting clear expectations and protecting our own well-being.

3. It's okay to say no. We don't have to say yes to everything or everyone. It's okay to say no to requests that will drain our time, energy, or resources.

4. We deserve to be respected. We deserve to be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect. If someone is not treating us well, we have the right to set a boundary and distance ourselves from them.

5. It's okay to say goodbye. Sometimes, the healthiest thing we can do is to say goodbye to a relationship, even if it's a difficult decision. If a relationship is toxic or abusive, we deserve to be free from it.

6. Goodbye doesn't mean forever. Sometimes, we need to say goodbye to a relationship in order to heal and grow. When we are ready, we may be able to reconnect with that person in a healthier way.

7. God loves us and will help us. When we are struggling to set boundaries or say goodbye, we can turn to God for help. He loves us unconditionally and will give us the strength we need to make difficult decisions.

8. We are not responsible for the behavior of others. We can only control our own behavior. We cannot force others to change or treat us well. However, we can set boundaries and protect ourselves from their behavior.
