Conatus-Journal of Philosophy is the international biannual open-access peer-reviewed philosophical publication of the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and the National Documentation Center, the second being the electronic publisher. Conatus welcomes original research papers in all fields of philosophical inquiry. Conatus is being indexed and

abstracted in Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Current Contents / Arts & Humanities, Dietrich’s Index Philosophicus, European Reference Index for the Humanities – ERIH PLUS, Humanities International Index, International Bibliography of Book Reviews of Scholarly Literature in the Humanities and Social Sciences, International Bibliography of Periodical Literature in the Humanities and Social Sciences, The Philosopher’s Index, Scopus. All submitted manuscripts have to go through double blind peer review process; light editing and process services are offered with no cost to the authors. Με αφορμή την ειδική έκδοση του Conatus Journal of Philosophy μια εξαιρετικά ενδιαφέρουσα φιλοσοφική εκδήλωση την Τρίτη 28.05.24 στο Κτήριο "Κωστής Παλαμάς" από το Εργαστήριο Εφαρμοσμένης Φιλοσοφίας. 📣 Γνωρίζετε ότι το Conatus Journal of Philosophy έγινε, το 2017, διεθνές περιοδικό φιλοσοφίας με διπλή ανώνυμη ομότιμη αξιολόγηση, και είναι το μόνο διεθνές περιοδικό φιλοσοφίας που εκδίδεται στην χώρα μας; Το 2018 εντάχθηκε στο ERIH+ και στο DOAJ, καθώς και σε άλλες αντίστοιχες υπηρεσίες ευρετηριασμού και απόθεσης. Ήταν πολύ μεγάλη επιτυχία η συμπερίληψή του στο Scopus το 2020 - έως σήμερα είναι το μόνο περιοδικό στην κατηγορία Philosophy που εκδίδεται στην χώρα μας και συμπεριλαμβάνεται στο Scopus. Το 2022 βρέθηκε στο 69ο percentile του Scopus και στην βαθμίδα Q2 του Scimago, γεγονός που το τοποθετεί σε βαθμίδα ανώτερη σε σχέση με περιοδικά με λαμπρή και μακρά ιστορία, όπως το /Kant Studien/ και άλλα, και συνιστά τεράστια επιτυχία για ένα περιοδικό που υπηρετείται από 18 ικανότατους και πολύ υψηλού επιπέδου εθελοντές, σε αντίθεση με τα απολύτως επαγγελματικά περιοδικά φιλοσοφίας με τα οποία πλέον συγκρίνεται. Οι μετρήσεις για το 2023 ήδη δείχνουν πως θα διατηρήσει την κατάταξή του τόσο στο Scopus, όσο και στο Scimago - ενώ οι σχετικές προβολές δείχνουν πως πιθανότατα θα βρεθεί στην βαθμίδα Q1. Όλα αυτά αποτελούν επίτευγμα μιας θαυμάσιας ομάδας λαμπρών νέων ανθρώπων, προς τιμήν των οποίων πραγματοποιείται αυτή η εκδήλωση. 👩‍🎓🥇🥂
