Hellas Sat is proud to have participated in the largest earthquake readiness exercise ever held in Crete, Greece.
Our contribution included providing vital satellite-enabled services that facilitated the collection and real-time transmission of video footage from drones and cameras in the field to Operation and Crisis Management Centers. This crucial support enabled swift and effective decision-making throughout the drill.
Working alongside our valued partners, fade and Diaplous Group, we ensured seamless real-time video delivery across various locations in Crete, directly to the Headquarters. This collaborative effort was instrumental in enhancing the overall effectiveness of the exercise.
The drill was organized by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, the Organization for Earthquake Planning & Protection, and the Regional Administration of Crete.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated team, our partners, and the organizers for making this exercise not only a success but also an incredible opportunity for growth and learning in disaster preparedness.
