STUDIO ATA was founded by George Rallis in 1971 as a limited liability company, offering only studio services for television programs for the Greek National Broadcast Association (ERT). In 1991, STUDIO ATA converts from a limited liability company (Ltd.) The same year Lamprakis Press S.A. acquires majority holdings in the company’s share capital and branches out into producing television programs
also to the privately owned Greek broadcast stations. Froso Rallis continues her father’s efforts up until 2005. Shortly after, Aggelos Christopoulos is appointed General Manager. We pay tribute to the late Vaggelis Koutelidakis, for his contribution and dedication to the company. In June 2008, Nikos Christoforou is appointed General Manager. STUDIO ATA has produced some of the most memorable and celebrated television series in Greek history. "Jungerman" & "O Christos Ksanastravronete" dating back to the late 1970’s. "Treis Harites" & "Oi Aparadektoi", during the establishment of the Greek private broadcasting stations in the early 1990’s and the recent smash hit “Sto Para Pente”, "Latremeni mou Gitones" And "Efitixismeni Mazi". Apart from critically acclaimed television series, the list also includes successful extravagant live variety shows, such as, "Bravo" & "Poli tin Kiriaki". As well as, internationally well-known reality & TV games shows, as, "Survivor Greece vs. Turkey", "Who wants to be a Millionaire" & "Taxi Girl", "Money Drop" and "Master Chef" which was one of the most popular shows in Greece for 2010. Today, STUDIO ATA focuses all its energies in producing combining vast technical expertise into the development and realization of television programs, as well as providing state of the art editing facilities and studio lot rentals.
