100 Years of Dignity.

The year 2019 has been designated as an anniversary year for the 100 years since the genocide of the greeks of Pontus and Anatolia by the Turks. In this page, the Pan-Pontian Federation of Greece and associations that deal with the Genocide of the Armenians, Assyrians and Greeks promote their actions, along with artworks and references to other Genocides throughout the world.

The actions are going to culminate in the International Conference on the crime of Genocide, which is taking place on December 6, 7 and 8, in memory of the 9th December, the day when the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide was signed in 1948. In 2015, the 9th of December was established by the UN as the International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide, highlighting the enforcement of the Convention. The International Conference of the 9th December includes professors and lecturers about different Genocides, with the aim of creating a new bibliography and a new circle of interviews not only about the Genocide of the Christian people of Turkey from 1914 to 1923, but also about current Genocides, such as the ongoing Genocide of the Yazidis from 2014 until today.
