📢 Exciting Update from AZA4ICE! 🌊

We are thrilled to announce that Ifapa has initiated the sampling process for the Aza4ice project!🔬 This crucial step aims to monitor water quality and assess nutrient levels in the Andalusian case study.

💧 Water samples have been collected from various systems, including:

✅Intensive production systems using RAS and flow-through circuits
✅Semi-extensive production systems in ponds and tanks
✅Extensive conditions throughout the Bay of Cádiz

These samples will be analyzed to provide a comprehensive evaluation, contributing to our goal of advancing sustainable aquaculture practices.

📣During the kick-off meeting of the project Aza4ice held at University of Patras, 🇬🇷, AIH's president, Dr. Hrvoje Mikulčić presented the DAnube WETlands RESToration project and open call for associated regions within the DaWetRest Lighthouse. This was a good opportunity to inform potential applicants that the DaWetRest project offers up to 75.000 EUR for each quality and DaWetRest-value-added innovation action.

🌊On 22. and 23. February 2024 AIH participated in the Aza4ice kick-off meeting held at the University of Patras in 🇬🇷. AIH's president, Dr. Hrvoje Mikulčić presented activities planned to be conducted by AIH. Aza4ice is co-founded by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and has the aim of strengthening circular and sustainable economy in the sector of aquaculture.
