When DJing, she is known for her laid-back, warm & trippy vibes and meandering, unpredictable setlists ranging from ambient and downtempo to drum and bass and other bass-heavy & dancefloor-ready genres. She brings a small piece of this world with this hour-long mix full of melting basslines embraced by dubby soundscapes providing a perfect soundtrack for the heatwave. Some weirdo hip-hop at the end for good measure.

Vilhelm, a familiar face within London’s clandestine corners, he has respectively cut his teeth playing at many an institutional party over the past decade. Vilhelms output is infused with an essence of body-music sleaze and a focus on groove, grit, and melancholic euphoria. He is also one half of the project Sob Story, a collaborative project between Vilhelm and Oliver, who in 2023 released their debut EP Doghouse on Khemia, the label run by Lee Adams/Choronzon, founder of Kaos.

This mix consists of odd cuts, old favourites, hidden gems, and some all time classics. Mostly new beat with some other adjacent tracks.

Live streaming tomorrow with b2b   Rumina is a DJ, artist, and producer from Malmö, Sweden. Since 2018, she has been an integral part of the dynamic music and studio collective FNGRLCKN. She has been a resident at Retreat Radio since 2019, where she hosts her monthly program Rattle. Rumina draws inspiration from an eclectic mix of genres and influences, such as deconstructed club, folk, punk, and dembow, constantly pushing the boundaries of her sound.

ac ss+ is the DJ alias of the visual artist Stephanos Koutroulis. In parallel with his club oriented mixes, he has been working with music and sound design to accompany installation and video works of his and others. Nefeli Stamatogiannopoulou is a composer, researcher, performance artist and improviser based in Athens. She plays double bass, electric bass, electronics, piano and she is also exploring the limits of the voice. In her last music and stage compositions, the artist, focuses on a personal system of notation and creation, which explore the relationship between music composition, movement and the dramaturgy of sound. 

18:45 EEST  Stellka is an artist from Athens with a background in computer science. She uses both analogue and digital media to experiment through different disciplines with a a focus on sound. Her work mainly consists of electro-acoustic compositions, soundscapes and improvisational experimentations with electronics, field recordings, percussion, strings, an e-bass, children’s musical toys, audio messages and more.

Cokobloko stands for confusion of mind and agitation. Coming from Greece, but based in the Netherlands, his journey with techno started in 2022. While organizing illegal raves with 145 Kollektiv, Cokobloko became a resident and promoter of the events. His biggest influence is the sound of the past that he finds in vinyl bins, which he then comfortably presents in his sets in analogue or digital form.

White aura is a Bosnian DJ currently living in Prague. Her passion in driven rhythm and strictly uncompromising sound selection has strong roots which sprouted in many places in Czech Republic like Altenburg 1964, Filtr, SPOT,(curating Merak Sessions), also abroad The Host, Bside, Eerste Communie, Radost, 145° Kollektiv and more.

We are really happy to be relaying parts of the REVEIL broadcast again this year on Dawn Chorus Day!

Reveil is a collaborative sound and radio project that circles the Earth on live audio streams at daybreak. The last broadcast featured 145 streams from a wide range of environments and situations. This time it will embark on its 11 loop around the sun on Saturday 4th of May at 5am UTC+1 and will complete its journey on Sunday the 5th of May at 6am.

Many streams come from soundcamps: small or very small gatherings in places of ecological and acoustic interest. Last year there were 26 soundcamps in a variety of locations – rural, urban and in between. Reveil will be mixed from a hub at Stave Hill Ecological Park in Rotherhithe, South London, and stations in Tartu, Sunshine Coast, Valparaíso, Chania and additional locations to be announced.
