Hats off to those that set the bar high.

Farafenni is now a Bright City. Farafenni Muritani has conducted a massive lightning project now it is Farafenni Sancheba.

Yesterday, The Farafenni Sancheba community has commenced their lightening Project this aims to create a brighter and safe environment for those living in the boarders of Sancheba. This group consists of the Sancheba Diaspora and the local Team in the community.

We applaud the efforts of the community elders and youth that lead the digging of holes and installations of about 70pcs of 400watts solar streetlight in the community. We hope and pray other communities in Farafenni emulate this initiative to make Chaku Bantang the brightest City in The Gambia.

We regret to announce the demise of Ensa Camara fondly called Yellow man who served The Gambia Arm force for decades and was one time working in The 2nd Infantry Battalion (Farafenni).

According to a colleague Mr Camara was a loyal soldier who is dedicated to his assignments and helped lots of young once’s to in the force.

We pray to Allah and grant the deceased Janatul firdaws in sha Allah.

May his soul rest in peace.

The Farafenni Sport committee has hold a meeting this afternoon on the alleged Fund embezzlement.

The Current Chairman DAD DIBBA is not in town at the moment. The Councillor Papa Tunkara and the Coaches suggested that the current committee should be dissolve and establish a task force to investigate into issue.

The footballers are disappointed on the delay of the Town Nawettan However, The counselors, Coaches and the Current executives are trying all their best to make sure The truth is established and commence the Tournament Soonest.

This man in the middle is called Alfusainey Jallow reside Farafenni Chaku bantang. He's a 35-year-old who today threatened to jump from the Senegambia Bridge into the River, but was rescued by Drug Squad officer Adama Bah and police officer Tamsir Dibba.

The 35-year-old wanted to take his life, but thanks to Adama and Tamsir, he was brought home safely
