SALIKENNI SPORTS COMMITTEE JUNIORS LEAGUE 2024 UPDATE

Entertainment Continue in the Junior tournament in Salikenni on 5th of September 2024 where we see the green 🟢 and orange 🟠Jersey go head to head Kassama K***a and Fatty K***A respectively. Both teams display wonderful ball possessions in the first half of the game with both teams looking for a spot into the semi final.
Both teams created great chances for an opportunity to break the deadlock but the two teams delivered a solid defense throughout the game which ended in a goalless draw....
Mustapha Kassama of Kassama k***a FC was the eye player of the match....

Kassama K***a in 4 games 8pts, 3 goals
Fatty K***a played 4 games with 8pts, 4 goals
Both teams qualify into the semis of the tournament.

Both teams created ambiance with fans taking the center stage of the show.

Bani Farm in collaboration with the Mixed Farming Center in salikenni organized field visit for Students

On 2nd September, 2024; Honourable Sulayman Saho the National Assembly member for Central Baddibou Constituency and CEO Bani Farm in collaboration with the Mixed Farming Center in salikenni organized a field visit with students from different Junior and Senior Secondary Schools it's was a great time with the young boys. The tour started at the Mixed Farming Center in Salikenni where the students visited various project sites, the irrigation area for vegetable production, sheep breeding and ram fattening department, Trees and vegetables production department, groundnut and Maize field this was amazing.

Mr lamin Dibba known as magic gave lectures in Bee keeping and honey productions, organic manure preparations while. Mr Ghulam sheriff admonished the young boys in the importance of studying agriculture as young boys and the future generation of our country without agriculture our dream about self food self-sufficient will never be fulfilled Ghulam added. Honourable Saho advised the students about the importance of education as young boys. As the tour continued we arrived @ Tomaring agro forest farm in Kerewan you can see smiles from the young boys how powerful Tomaring came out from the tree jungle in Kerewan. He also talks to the young boys about the importance of planting trees and how you can earn money by planting trees like mahogany, Malina and other trees that can be used as wood. We also visited Tuss Moro Banana Farm just next to Mr Tomaring there you can see Bananas like a healthy forest. Finally at Bani Farm we had nice Benachin with wonji juice and a football match between young boys from Jammeh K***a and Salikenni . Wonderful weekends.

SALIKENNI SPORTS COMMITTEE JUNIORS LEAGUE 2024 UPDATE- Friday 30th August 2024 Match

It’s and intense battle on the pitch today as Kassama k***a edged out Marisebato with a hard-fought 1-0 victory! with fans cheering passionately for their teams. This match showcased the incredible talent and determination of both sides, but it was Kassama k***a who emerged triumphant, thanks to Mustapha Dukureh brilliant goal in 43 minutes of the game. A huge shoutout to the Salikenni sports committee (SSC) for organizing this lovely event and to everyone Who’s following me.

Bubacarr Daffeh won player of the match Award.

Kassama k***a with 7 points in 3 games while Marisebato has only 1 points in 4 game’s.

SALIKENNI SPORTS COMMITTEE JUNIORS LEAGUE 2024 UPDATE

An electrifying match unfolded today as Fatty K***a faced off against Bantang United in a nail-biting encounter organized by the Salikenni Sports Committee. Fatty K***a took the lead early on, Molamin ceesay scoring a brilliant goal just 17 minutes into the first half, igniting the crowd with excitement.

However, Bantang United demonstrated incredible determination and skill, managing to equalize from Buba fofana goal in the 75 minute of the game, leaving fans on the edge of their seats.

Happy Retirement Honourable Alieu Jarju.
Farewell to our esteemed Son of Land.

Yesterday 30th July, 2024 marked the end of over 30 years of outstanding service and unwavering dedication to service of the nation.

Alieu Jarju was a Director General of Management Development Institute (MDI), who had impacted a lot of lives through his leadership style, integrity, and commitment to the service. He was a source of inspiration, guidance, and strength to many who passed through the corridor of MDI.

He was the Director General and Imam of MDI, Mr Jarju will be well remembered for providing a Friday Lunch and drink for staff and students and this was a culture until his retirement.

Thank you for your invaluable contributions to the education sector.
We wish you good health, and fulfillment in your retirement goals. May Allah preserve you and protect you for posterity.

A short Biography

Hello!
My names are Junior Mustapha B Ceesay. I am a native of Baddibou Salikenni the village that is known for its unique traditions, culture and great history located at the northern region of The Gambia. I was born on Friday 7th day of March 2003. I was born in an extended family of eight and I am the second to last born of my family. I was named after my great grandmother's father The Great Balafi Drammeh.

I started my educational career at Baddibou Salikenni Basic Cycle School from 2010 to 2016. In this period I served as the Head Boy of this great Institution from 2014 to 2016 respectively. From there I proceeded to Mingdaw Junior and Senior School located at Farato village Kombo south district Western Region of The Gambia from 2017 to 2023. l am currently studying National Diplomacy and International Relations at Management Development Institution, MDI at Kanifing.

Sheriff Mustapha Dibba Health Centre inaugurated.

The President of The Republic of The Gambia His Excellency President Adama Barrow inaugurated a multi million Dalasi health facility in Salikenni, Central Badibu.

The centre, the first of its kind in the area, will ease the burden on residents and the surrounding communities as the new medical centre is equipped with modern facilities that would not require the natives of Salikenni to travel outside in search of medical attention.

Addressing the gathering, President Barrow said the project was part of the efforts in the health sector, as outlined in the National Development Plan- NDP YIRIWA 2023-2027, are paramount.

President Barrow named the health centre after Sheriff Mustapha Dibba, one of the founding fathers of The Gambia’s independence

We call upon everyone to take ownership of the facility.

CCMF MEDICAL CARAVAN AT LAMBAI
Chosan Charitable Medical Foundation (CCMF) is a self-service initiative ventured into by some young people in diverse professions/ careers to contribute their quota in complementing the Government’s efforts in providing accessible HEALTHCARE and services TO ALL.

The Chosan: A Charitable Medical Foundation Medical Caravan were at Salikenni on Saturday 23rd September 2023 to provide free medical services to the residents.

On behalf of the entire community of Lambai, we thank the Foundation and its entire Management. The visiting Nurse and Medical Doctors thank you.

There could not be a better time than this period.
We pray that Allah preserves the foundation to carry on good work.
