THE SHAME OF THE WORLD

Dead bodies floating
in our oceans
from the Asian Pacific
to the Mediterranean

crumpled corpses lying
on our beaches
thousands drowned unknown

overcrowded detention centers
not unlike concentration camps
behind barbed wires
guarded by police and snarling dogs

nobody feels responsible

not those who started wars
destroyed whole cities
made millions homeless
and into refugees

not those who take advantage
of the chaos for their own gain
abusing the names of their gods
or some ancient figurehead
to excuse their atrocities and greed

not those who live
in comfortable homes
and wish the desperate crowds
would just stay on the TV screen
and not come close

nor those who pretend
to be the guardians
of our great humanitarian heritage
but show no backbone
against nationalist fanatics

it is the shame of the world
to sit and talk and watch
and not do enough

those who turn away
the needy and homeless
could also
quite suddenly
lose their homes

forced to rely
on the kindness of strangers

see we are under test with Covid 19

Indiscriminate threat to
all human beings

Have open the door to see who we truly are

as weak, poor and dumb with our brains

Neither wealth honored can save you but only
Humanity can.

Volunteers generously dedicate their time to make non-profit and charity organization events or programs to run smoothly. Appreciating this selfless efforts from time to time helps to remind these individuals of their importance to the greater good. It is important to say thank you for volunteering to all those who helped. I am a volunteer and I know what it means; every drop of your sweat will go towards building the foundation of someone else’s life.

Volunteering will not make you a millionaire money-wise, but it will make you a billionaire blessings-wise. The wealth of love that you have amassed by volunteering will pay interest in the form of happiness for the rest of your life. To my fellow humanitarians, If life was a Twitter page, , and would be trending because of you. Thanks for volunteering and offering all you have, from your wealth that can be seen to your blood that is deep but yet given not to be seen.

SELF DISCIPLINE🤔

Self-discipline is one of the keys to living our full potential. If we can be disciplined with our daily actions then we can achieve anything that we set our mind to. Every individual need to be discipline, most especially the literate. As Martin Luther King puts it, "education without morals is like a ship without a compass, merely wandering nowhere". If you call yourself an elite, you must be responsible and behave like a one.

Being a youngster who has long been passionate about performing arts; I consider it fitting to create this platform to attract more audiences to motivate and inspires different generations. I believe in the power of arts, it's a powerful tool we can use to change the world for the better through peaceful means; for so long as everybody can't speak or write creatively, people who are passionate and endowed with speaking and writing skills must do their best to speak not for themselves alone but equally for others.
