The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Africa West Area, in collaboration with the Ga Manste Foundation, gathers together for the unveiling of the newly renovated and massively improved King Takie Tawiah I Cluster of Schools in Adabraka, Accra, Ghana.
This initiative, fully funded by the Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints, seeks to unlock a brighter future for the future of Adabraka and its environs through education. The newly refurbished and improved school now boasts of the following:
1. A newly built library stocked with more than 2,000 books
2. A newly built ICT centre with 40 fully installed and connected computers and accessories
3. A renovated 12-unit Mantse Takie Tawiah block
4. A renovated 6-unit Liberty Avenue block
5. Renovated Mantse Tackie Tawiah KG block
6. Renovated Liberty Avenue ICT Laboratory and office
7. A newly built astro turf football pitch and 60 seater spectator stand
8. A newly constructed 8-seater toilet facility with urinals, and changing rooms for girls
9. A newly constructed 100-seater canteen
10. A renovated 20-seater toilet facility
11. A new fence wall and additional perimeter upgrades including drainage, new pavements and landscaping
12. A new security post and upgraded entrance to the school
