VGMA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENTS AWARDS

Legendary Agya Koo Nimo has received the Lifetime Achievements Award at the 2022 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for his continuous contribution to the Ghanaian music industry.

Koo Nimo (Daniel Kwabena Boa-Amponsem) was born on October 3, 1934, and hails from Atwima Foase near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

He is one of the oldest forklore musicians in Ghana, and is a professional guitarist; singer; composer; bandleader and record producer among others.
