If God is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnibenevolent, why did he create an evil world?

If we have the power of choice, why does God punish us in hell for not choosing him?

For better understanding, also read the Q and A below;

Questions; Category A
1. Why did God create an evil world of suffering?
2. Didn’t He know there will be evil?
3.Could He not have created one that is not evil?
This questions are in light of the fact that we claim God is all powerful, all knowing and all loving.

Answers; Category A
1. God didn’t create an evil world. Gen 1: 1-31. captures that everything God created was good.

There is evil and suffering in the world because of man’s free will. He chose evil, perpetrated evil until evil became a system within the world God created. This he did exercising his free will which God cannot violate.

God could have created a world where there is no evil and suffering, but that way, He would have given only consciousness to man and not free will. This creation however would have been without essence and meaning as man would have being reduced to a robot. What is the essence of a creation where love, worship etc means nothing?

Although God is not responsible for evil, yet His love nature has compelled Him not to ignore man’s sufferings. So God has put two systems in place; Intervention and judgement. His intervention includes; conscience, decernment, blessings, His world, the Church and Jesus’ death and resurrection freely made available for man deliverance. His judgement on the other hand is restoration for all who accept Him and his ways (including victims of this wicked word) and a just recompense for those who reject Him and His ways (including perpetrators of evil).

1. If we truly have free will, why should God send us to hell for rejecting Him. 2. Is free will really free will?

Answers; Category B
Hell was not created for man. However it’s a place that justly recompense evil. Hell is also the only place outside God’s government.

When man chose evil, he became evil. In order not to end up in hell, God reached out to man to recreate him (Eph. 2:10, 2 Cor. 5:17) and rid him of evil. Any man therefore who rejects God and His offer cannot end up with God in eternity because God cannot co inheir with evil, neither will he violet the choice of such a person. This is why the end up in hell. They reject God so the end up outside of God and the chose evil, hence must be recompensed justly. Hence, free will is free will and respected by God even in eternity.
