HARD TO LEAVE

NOVEMBER 16TH, 2023.

John 10:26-28 But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

As I spend time listening to Jesus, I noticed how difficult it is for His sheep to leave Him. You cannot easily backslide when you are His sheep. This is true because you will know His voice and He will know you.

I thought knowing Jesus was wonderful but Jesus knowing you is the greatest honour. Any man can say I know Jesus, the best is when He also knows you. The key is becoming His sheep, a humble one and nothing can take you from Him.

He knew Job and He asked if Satan knows him too. You cannot be taken from Jesus at that level of intimacy: don't end at knowing Jesus, be certain also that He knows you because you hear His voice as His sheep and follows Him. Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
I've always prayed knowing you is a great thing, I am now asking that you show me how you know me in Jesus name. Amen

LEARNING TO WAIT

OCTOBER 18TH, 2023

Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.

If there is anything we don't like to do, it's to wait. Maybe that is why God is so interested in us learning to wait! There is something purifying about remaining strong in tough times and remaining faithful when ill winds blow and yet you wait.

God gives us times of waiting to see if our search is really for him or merely for something new or easy. The Loving Father has waited for us so many times - for us to show our faith, repent of our sins, grow in holiness, come to him in prayer, act more mature, give to those who cannot return care.

When we learn to wait for Him just us He waited for us, then are we becoming more like Him. I know you want things fast but learn to wait for Him. Strength is renewed when we wait and seek Him with all of our heart. Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Help me as I wait for you to show me the way with my decisions, to act to relieve my need, and to reveal your presence in my loneliness In Jesus' name. Amen

GO FOR BETTER 1

SEPTEMBER 25TH, 2023

1 Samuel 15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

When you read the Bible, take note of the things God considers better. One of them is when it comes to obedience verses sacrifice. God prefers obedience to be better.

In christianity not all things are between good and evil. There can be two good things but one is better. Obey God's instructions to you than to bring your tithe and offerings to Church.

Don't let anyone deceive you, God prefers you going for obedience than sacrifices. Example, God says marry a Christian; obey it before your marriage becomes an everyday prayer topic. You will sacrifice to pray but it was better if you had obeyed. Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
I receive grace to easily obey you. Establish my heart in obedience in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

FEW PEOPLE

JULY 26TH, 2023.

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

If you decide to go the way of God, expect few people to be on that road. Majority of the people will not go by the way of the strait gate nor the narrow way.

Contrary to what we think now a days we believe more people means that's the way of God. The commonest question I get is how is ministry and how many members do you have?

No one ask how is your closeness to God? I love more people but they don't even care if I am backsliding and still gathering more people. Enter the strait and narrow way and expect few people there on that way. Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Let my closeness to you matter the most in my walk with you, I choose the narrow path today in Jesus name. Amen

A GRACIOUS GOD

MAY 17TH, 2023

Jonah 4:2 And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

I see the pulpit as a sacred trust and anytime I stand behind it God is expecting me to show forth His graciousness to His children. Jonah came to understand that later.

God is gracious, that means when a man changes His mind about His sin, God has to change His mind. He said " i prefer mercy over judgement". He is willing to open up His children to His boundless love.

Jonah didn't want God to have mercy on Nineveh. Do you feel others don't deserve grace? Perhaps that's why you don't win souls. God wants you to extend His graciousness to others by winning souls. God is gracious. Blessings

PRAYER
Father in Heaven,
You are good and gracious to all of man. I ask that your graciousness flows to me, my family, friends, community and around to the world in Jesus name. Amen

Isa.30.18 - But the LORD still waits for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the LORD is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for him to help them.

The story of the prodigal son reveals to us the heart of God when we miss our path. Ones a while a child is likely to miss His way but God always waits for us to come back to Him.

Let this be in your consciousness not to lead you into going astray but let it build confidence in the Love of the Father for you. We can always come back home if we so will.

The prophets kept crying to Israel and to all, God is a Father who waits patiently for your return. I have gone back many times and He is always there for me. He will always be there for you too. We are special to Him, so love Him. Blessings

MIGHTY HERO

NOVEMBER 13TH, 2022

Judg.6.11 - 12 Then the angel of the LORD came and sat beneath the oak tree at Ophrah, which belonged to Joash of the clan of Abiezer. Gideon son of Joash had been threshing wheat at the bottom of a winepress to hide the grain from the Midianites. The angel of the LORD appeared to him and said, "Mighty hero, the LORD is with you!"

May be you are not happy with your life right now. Should the Lord appear to you and say - mighty hero, your responds might be worse than Gideon in the verse 13 of the scripture above. Look for it in your bible.

Only one thing cures an unhappy life, a sense of purpose. Gideon was hiding but God called him a might man of 'war power'- Hero. His purpose was to be a man of war but the system had turn him into a farmer. Unhappy life is rooted in misplaced purpose.

Young lady, young man! you are a mighty hero if you can allow your God given potentials out of their resting places in you. Allow no circumstance, system, friend, mate or boss to define you wrongly. You are a mighty hero, live up to it. Blessings

THE TEMPTER

OCTOBER 29TH, 2022.

1 Thessalonians 3:5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and our labour be in vain.

Great man like apostle Paul knew that the tempter can make his work in the life of the thessalonians be in vain. The tempter is a very real and a serious being, he visits all of us all the time.

Many believer's are not aware satan is interested in their life. They don't see him as the initiator of all temptations leading to destruction. At every level, he plans to derail the faith of the Christian and all the work done on them by God becomes vain.

God invested so much into Adam. Look at how He placed everything inside the garden for Him yet the tempter won over them. Today, you are saved in Christ by the second Adam but the tempter will come, may you win against his temptations. Blessings

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Thank you for your great defeat over the tempter, may your investment in me never go in vain in Jesus' name. Amen

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

In friendship, the key is to be of the same material. Your friendship with anyone who is not the same as you will hurt you. Iron sharpeneth iron not plastic or glass; the material must be the same.

I love the bible, there is no area of life that it doesn't speak to, its either we want God's idea about a matter or we want the social ideas about a matter the very reason for all the confusion today.

Any friendship that fails to improve you don't waste your time on it. You might have sit in class with them or grow up with them, if your countenance remains backward with a friend, drop that one now. Be wise. Blessings.

FAST

SEPTEMBER 11TH, 2022

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

When we fast, we are making a deliberate choice to defy the very appetite that produced sin in us at the beginning. Our example is the Last Adam, who in the face of the temptation to turn stones to bread, denied His stomach.

Fasting is God's idea, God brought it up. Don't be worldly Because the world denies itself nothing. The worldly person operates like this: “If I want it, and I can afford it, I get it.” But to be a disciple of Jesus, you must deny yourself.

Deny your belly. Unless, of course, your belly runs your life. “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame — who set their mind on earthly things. For our citizenship is in heaven” (Philippians 3:18-20). Blessings.

TURNING TO JESUS

SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2022

Acts.20.21 - I have had one message for Jews and Gentiles alike--the necessity of turning from sin and turning to God, and of faith in our Lord Jesus.

Paul made it clear turning from sin is not enough one must continue to turn to God. Eventually, one must turn to Jesus Christ. All that is in the package of the gospel he preached.

Pointing to Jesus as the Lord by faith completes it. You might have a clean life you have turn from sin, you might be a believer in God and that's nice but if Jesus is offensive to you, you are not saved.

Clean life is not the same as born again, you are not an atheist is not the same as born again. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is what releases the right to become God's spiritually born one. Turn people to Jesus always. Blessings

SHINE LIKE A STAR

SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2022

Daniel 12:2 -3 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

What ever you do for God is not for nothing. Heaven is rewarding you everyday and even the greater reward is on the day of the Lord's coming.The Bible says some will rise to shame and everlasting contempt, that is the lake of fire and some to everlasting life.

Now! it also says, they that turns many into righteousness shall shine like stars. He is talking about soul winners. It is time to shine like a star. How beautiful are the feet of all who turn many to righteousness.

In your own capacity, win souls. Don't sit in your church and see the same old faces every day. Bring in new ones, the bible says "He that win souls is wise". I see you shining like never before. blessings.

Dear Lord,

BE PLANTED

AUGUST 29TH, 2022

Psalms 92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

When your life is not planted in God's house flourishing is not a possibility in your life. God came up with the church idea, so that there will be a place where He can work on our souls.

Think about a tree that we keep transplanting every Sunday, do you think that tree will flourish and do well? You can't plant yourself in church this Sunday and plant yourself at home the next Sunday. Be planted in God's presence permanently.

A decision to be permanent in church will bring to your life the full package of what the Lord has for you. You want to see a flourishing life so? Choose to be planted in the courts of God. Blessings

THE WISDOM OF ANTS

JULY 27TH, 2022

Prov.6.7 - 8 Even though they have no prince, governor, or ruler to make them work, they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.

Team work and partnership is the wisdom of Ants. I have only one reason for the poverty in Africa, lack of team work and partnership. Our culture is not designed for us to be faithful when it comes to doing things together. One or two will gossip, jealous and kill the vision.

All around the world, all the amazing successes achieved from Apple to Google to Microsoft were all done by not just one person. Partnership has brought about the greatest accomplishments in the world. We need to learn that.

In our ministry, we have partners in prayer and there are those who helps us to send the gospel far financially. One person cannot do much but faithfulness in team work and partnership will move every mountain. Become a faithful partner and team worker today. Blessings

Savings is the Ants next wisdom to learn. He knows abundance is not always there, it comes in seasons, so then save when there is more coming in. Perhaps Ants just ask the question who can stop us when we choose to be Rich?

It's proven savings makes no one Rich but wise investments do. The key here is no one can have something to invest without saving first. There is always that season when a lot comes to hand, you better save.

Who can stop you when you choose to be rich? I have a good answer to that, yourself! Ants know no one can stop them from having enough tomorrow except themselves so they save for tomorrow. Save for tomorrow. Blessings

Prov.6.6 - 7 Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and be wise! Even though they have no prince, governor, or ruler to make them work,

self leadership is the first wisdom ants demonstrate. Do you find yourself being instructed all the time before you perform your responsibilities? Do you lack initiative abilities? Then you need to learn from the ant.

In many areas of your life there will be no one to tell you what to do. You have to start helping yourself. Don't wait for your boss before you do what is right, be self motivated to do what the Lord you have to do.

When you lead yourself others will be motivated to follow you. Ants achieve great things and have survived for millions of years by wisdom. Dinosaurs are extinct but ants are here. It's time to lead yourself into greatness. Blessings

THE WISDOM OF ANTS 2

JULY 23RD, 2022

Prov.6.8 - they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.

Hardwork is the wisdom of an ant. Ants don't cultivate their own food but they work hard to gather their food. Ants believe that there is always a drop for them no matter what and they are ready to work for it.

Jesus told us about our daily bread but it's not going to drop without you doing nothing. Even when the manna fell, the people had to go out there and gather it. God wants to take care of you but you have to work hard.

He told us He will bless the work of our hands. If you fail to work, there will be nothing left for God to bless. Young people, work hard and avoid being a lazy bone. Take lessons from the ant and short change your life. Blessings.

WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING?

JULY 13TH, 2022.

Luke.22.46 - "Why are you sleeping?" he asked. "Get up and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you."

In senior high school I discovered that for me to pass I have to add some of the night hours to that of the day. When faced with life's challenges Jesus also asked the disciples; "why are you sleeping?" It was late in the night.

If you have no special reason then sleep should not be a routine. Health wise, sleep is good but a life of sleep is not advocated for the man who wants to avoid temptations and of the truth our times are full of temptations.

Jesus gave us only one reason why men enter into temptations; that's when they don't pray. Advancement is always limited by too many temptations. "Why are you sleeping?" he asked. "Get up and pray. Otherwise temptation will overpower you." Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Tear down this laziness in my life towards prayer. Send me a trainer in the field of prayer in Jesus' name. Amen

DESERTED HIM

John.6.66 - At this point many of his disciples turned away and deserted him.

The word deserted here is used as a verb. It means to leave anything that depends on one's presence to survive, exist, or succeed, especially when contrary to a promise or obligation; to abandon or to forsake.

When we preach we must be careful what we promise the people in Christ. We must present Jesus and the need for a personal relationship with Him than the He will bless you with riches thing.

I believe Jesus wants us rich but He wants us in himself and He in us more. It's only when we seek the Kingdom and it's righteousness first that all others can be given to us. He is the kingdom. Don't forsake Jesus because of bread. Thats what most of His disciples did. Blessings

Dear Lord,
There is so much riches in You but I prefer You to a mussel of bread. I seek a better intimacy with you today in Jesus name. Amen

THE FIRE TEST

JUNE 30TH, 2022

1Cor.3.13 - But there is going to come a time of testing at the judgment day to see what kind of work each builder has done. Everyone's work will be put through the fire to see whether or not it keeps its value.

My works will be tried by fire, so is your works. Why will God do that? I think because someone is not going to do the work with what it is required. The thing about God is, He determines the standard.

Shoddy works are going to get burnt in this fire. You must pay attention to every details and then render an excellent work. The thoroughness with which something is done is key to God.

My temperament changes when it comes to God's work. In church, you must be serious because the fire test is awaiting our works. Think about the work you have done so far, How will the fire treat it? If not sure, that's a sign that more grace is required. Blessings

PRAYER
Father in Heaven,
Be gracious and help me, let your face shine upon me that my works will stand the test of fire in Jesus name. Amen

KNOWING HIM

JUNE 29TH, 2022

John.16.2 -3 For you will be expelled from the synagogues, and the time is coming when those who kill you will think they are doing God a service. This is because they have never known the Father or me.

One true sign that you know God is you don't kill others in His name. Occasionally, one will come across people who sense called to help God on the planet. They claim to be defenders of God, I don't believe in people like that and you must be watchful of them.

Truth is, God uses men and you are not the only person He has chosen. Paul, before he met
Jesus thought He was helping God by killing Christians. There are extremist today who think they are helping God by killing Christians.

It's prove that God didn't send them. I am of a simple view of God, He is all sufficient one, its a privilege on our behalf to be used by Him. It's important that you know you can work for Him and not know Him. It's time to know God. Blessings

Dear Lord,
I open my heart to know you intimately more than I have known you in Jesus name. Amen

GUIDE TO ALL TRUTH 4

JUNE 28TH, 2022

John.16.13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

Even the Spirit will not be presenting His own ideas. That means He has other ideas but He will guide you to the Father's idea. What He has heard means what God has spoken through out to us from the bible.

He will guide to the truth said about Abraham, David, Moses and the rest. At times, He will use the truth about another person's life to guide you. You will pay for it if you don't take lessons painful learnt by others seriously.

Judas didn't just hanged himself, learn a lesson by the spirit from it if you are a traitor. Every traitor in the bible ended up in a painful death; let that truth guide your life if you don't want the same fate. Blessings.

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Let my heart be opened to your truth written through the life of men. Help me avoid the foolishness of experimenting with my short life in Jesus name. Amen

GUIDE TO ALL TRUTH 3

JUNE 27TH, 2022

John.16.13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

The Holy Spirit will not guide to some truth, but to all the Truth. That stands to let you know this course can take a life time. King Solomon's life basically was used to prove to us the emptiness of the things we chase on earth. So he said all things are vanity.

Some truth only in your life means you are going to lack so much. This is why you must have the full or the total truth about God, Jesus and the Spirit. Half truths will create a big gab in your life.

I think this is where denominationalism has not helped many Christians. People are talked out of knowing some truths only to go on and pay for it dearly in life. Some return to it but too late; like the 5 Virgins who returned and the door we closed. Have all the truth. Blessings

Father in Heaven,
Make all truths available to me, to every lie in my life replace it with all the truth in Jesus' name. Amen

GUIDE TO ALL TRUTH 2

JUNE 26TH, 2022.

John.16.13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

In the guidance to truth by the Spirit, don't expect just a one time statement of truth but a time and season of guidance to the truth. King Nebuchadnezzar spent 7 years to arrive at humility after being turned into a beast.

Arrogance and pride has got a revelation or a truth that needs to be revealed. Telling the person you are proud won't heal the person. The Spirit takes time to guide till pride is thrown out from it's roots in a person.

Basically, it's called the training of the Spirit: every truth guided to brings advancement spiritually and God is glorified. He might be guiding me to the anointing but in the other He is guiding into humility. Find out where His guidance in leading you. Blessings

Heavenly Father,
I submit my being and will to your guidance. Allow no truth to elude me in Jesus name. Amen

JUNE 25TH, 2022

John.16.13 - When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not be presenting his own ideas; he will be telling you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.

The Holy Spirit don't just tell you the truth, He guides you to all the truth. The truth you are guided to is better than just hearing truth. It's important that the spirit arrange truth to you sequentially.

To know how to have s*x before you know how to be a father shows that truth was not sequentially arranged for you in life. S*x is truth from God, fatherliness is truth from God and if you will allow the Spirit He will teach you fatherliness first.

The distortion and the imbalance arises when we have people hearing truths and they just don't know when it ought to be fit in life. To love, you must first be guided to sacrifice and forgiveness else you will suffer in your love life. Be guided. Blessings

Dear Lord,
By your word this morning, I allow you to rearrange and guide me to all the truths of the Kingdom in Jesus name. Amen

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

Tell the fault of your brother to Him. Avoid pretense and hypocrisy as much as possible. Life is so important to live it on pretence and hypocrisy. Usually you don't help people well when you pretend.

One day, I was very offended about how a brother treated me. I struggled with it for days then I decided to obey the scripture above. I was shocked to find out he was not even aware I got offended. He said sorry and I gained my brother back.

Is there someone you are angry at who might have no idea about it? If you can practice tell him his fault, you might save yourself the anger, the pain and the rejection you are feeling. Blessings

YOU AND HIM ALONE

JUNE 23RD, 2022

Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

I see Christians make the mistake of responding to their fellow Christians who offend them using the social media. That is not biblical. Lets say my writings offends you, to show me you love me speak to me alone.

Sometimes we think it's not possible to reach those people but love never gives up. Do your best to get your brother alone and address it. Let's be clear on this, any public criticism of your brother proves your pride.

Usually you want to prove to people you are right. Go to your brother, if he listens to you, you have gain your brother. Again, don't use the media to destroy your brother and later come to apologise. The damage might be too much to recover. Blessings

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
You truly knows my heart, I recieve grace to always have the gain my brother or sister back mentality in Jesus name. Amen

LABOUR NOT TO BE RICH

JUNE 21ST, 2022.

Proverbs 23:24 Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

The day that this simple instruction will be imprinted in your heart, You will not know how much you are missing in life. Labour not to be rich. Why will God give such an instruction when we know riches are good?

To be rich is God's will for your life but Labour not for it. In labouring, one's aim, motive and purpose should not be riches but to serve others. It says riches have eagle wings, don't be the one to chase it.

For so many years, no one has been satisfied of riches yet. Labour for what is worth eternal reward. Seek first the Kingdom of God and all other things shall be added. That is worth labouring for. Blessings

PRAYER
Dear Lord,
Help me not to miss the point, to follow after what does not satisfy in Jesus name. Amen.
