This was an interesting piece; it definitely supports my view point of not shoving zero or low waste down people's throats. I think a more encouraging attitude and leading by example is the way to go rather than shaming people for their choices without understanding their circumstances. Sustainability also goes beyond just the waste we produce at the household level! We need systemic change!
