The NDC Minority in Ghana's Parliament says it feels vindicated for standing against the AKER/AGM Oil block deal which the NPP Government nearly paid over $1 billion for.

Deputy Minority Leader and Member of the Mines and Energy Committee, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah told the Parliamentary Press Corps in a briefing on Wednesday that contrary to a newspaper publication which suggests that the Minority is silent on AGM's decision to pull out of the $1.65 billion transaction with the GNPC, he produced a video recording of the Parliamentary debate on the subject in August 2021, where the NDC warned the Govt about the risky nature of that asset.
