Earlier this morning Nana Afia Siraa Ababio III ( Werempe hemaa BKM / Kato hemaa) together with Osabarima Kwabena Diawuo Owusu II ( Werempehene Bkm / Kato hene) attended the traditional marriage between Gyasi Kwaku Twene and Abenaa Twumwaa Dartey who is the Elder daughter of Mr Kwame Dartey CEO of ROYAL UNITY LODGE (AHENFIE HOTEL).
Delivering her advice to the new couples Abrewatia asked the couples to seek God first in their union. She also encouraged the man to Love his wife and the woman to Respect her Man in order to obtain the ultimate and successful relationship.
She prayed to God to bless them with happiness, riches and children.

Today the St. Patrick's Catholic church presented Rev Felix Boamah to Nananom of Kato traditional council as his ordination comes off Saturday 8th July at Christ the king cathedral. Sunyani.
Rev. Felix Boamah is a native of Kato who began his education in kato and has been a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Kato.
His soleman Thanksgiving mass service will be held on 9th July at St Patrick's Catholic church. Kato.
He was advised and blessed by the chief and his elders .
He was accompanied by the church executives.
Rev Boamah later expressed his appreciation to Nananom and took the opportunity to invite them to this special occasion.

Yesterday the Leaders of Church of Pentecost, Beekum/Kato District called on the Traditional leaders in Kato. The delegation included Pastor Evans Nketsiah Egyir, Ps. Samuel Anarfo, Ps. Samuel Essel and Elder Samuel Ofori.
Their visit was to show gratitude and appreciation to Nananom for their contributions towards to the church and also granting to them a place to operate as a church.
The church again presented an enclosed two envelopes to the chief of Kato, Osabarima Kwabena Diawuo Owusu ll, who also doubles as Berekum Werempehene and the Queen mother of Kato, Nana Afia Siraa Ababio III.(Werempehemaa Bkm.)
The chief and the Queen mother together expressed their appreciation and encouraged the church to pray for peace and togetherness among its member and Kato at large. They also asked the church to encouraged its members to invest in their children education instead of spending too much on funerals.
Later the leader prayed for Nananom to bring the meeting to an end.

On 29th of October this year, Osabarima Kwabena Diawuo Owusu II ( Katohene/Werempehene-Berekum) honoured an invitation from Mr Obed Asante ( CEO of Ghana Nuts Compay Ltd.) who mourned, burried and had a funeral celebration for his mother at Chiraa, Bono Region. Osabarima Who is the Chief of Kato and also doubled as the Werempehene of Berekum Traditional Area went with entourage making the celebration of the well lived mother a memorable one.
To show appreciation Mr. Obed Asante also on today 3rd Nocember returned to the Kato palace to thank Osabarima and his people for the honour he brought to him and his entire family during his mother funeral celebration .

Osabarima together with his queenmother Nana Afia Siraa Ababio III were also pleased with his gesture and prayed for him and his entire family.

St. Patrick's Catholic Church, now a parish in Kato- Berekum today paid a curtesy call to /Werempehene/Katohene Osabarima Kwabena Diawuo Owusu ll and his Elders at Kato. The call was to introduce to Nananom a new Rev. Minister of the church and his newly elected executives of the parish. Rev. Father Jones Gyabaa Yeboah together with his executives namely Mr Christopher Gyau, Mr Augustine Mensah, Mr George Opoku, Mr Billy Kyeremeh, Mr Attah Kwadwo, Mr Kwadwo Samuel and Mdm. Abena Adu thanked Nananom for their warm reception and promise to work and collaborate together to make KATO shining star and welcoming gateway to Berekum.
Osabarima thanked them and encouraged the new minister to unite the people and bring them together as a cimmunity towards development.
He promised to speed up the water project he is currently doing for the RC Basic School and also their toilet facility. Nana also has planned to wall the school in future to safeguard students.
Rev. Father Jones Gyabaa Yeboah was grateful and prayed for Nananom for their good intensions and plans for the community.
