The chief of Bomen in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti region. Nana Kwarteng Agyakumhene ll has cautioned his colleague chiefs and queenmother against lording themselves against their subjects.

Nana Kwarteng Agyakumhene ll wants chiefs and queenmother to rather use their position to lobby for development projects to their respective communities.

Nana Kwarteng Agyakumhene ll gave the advice in an interview with Oyerepa News after he sworn-in Nana Yaa Akyiaa l as the queenmother of Bomen traditional Area.

He admonished Nana Yaa Akyiaa to humble and respect her people

In response, Nana Yaa Akyiaa l thanked traditional leaders in the Effiduase traditional Area for the honour done her and called for support from the people of Bomeng to enable her succeed.

LThe founder and general overseer of New Jerusalem Chapel at Sokoban-Ampayoo in the Atwima Kwanwoma district, Bishop J y Adu has described the continue misery death of Ghanaian leaders especially the politicians as their failure to concentrate in prayers.

He said most of political leaders neglect their faith in the Lord after secured higher positions and as a result pave way for the devil to penitrate into their life with misery death.

He cited examples of the late Dr Kwame Nkrumah during his tenure as president always attend prayer meetings outside the country for his spiritual empowerment which most Ghanaians described as Kankam Nyame.

OBAAPANIN OF EFFIDUASE BOMEN DESTOOLED

The chief and elders of Effiduase Bomen in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti region. 2 February 2024. Preformed the necessary rituals to destool the queenmother of the community, Nana Akua Antwiwaa for gross insubordination.

In an interview with Oyerepa News ' the chief of Effiduase Bomen-hene Nana Kwarteng Agyakumhene 11, said her queenmother was destool by the paramount chief of Effiduase traditional Area, Nana Adu Ameyaw for her refusal to subject herself to the authority of the Effiduase stool.

The linguist of the paramount chief of Effiduase traditional Area, Nana Agyei sikapa and Effiduase- Twafuorhene Okokyerehene Agyei 11 as well as the Bomen Bretuo Abusuapanin Nana Kwasi Boafo also spoke to Oyerepa News.

EFFIDUASE NSUTAM - DON'T LORD YOURSELF OVER YOUR SUBJECTS - CHIEFS ADMONISHED

Traditional rulers have been cautioned against lording themselves over their subjects since that is not a trait of a good leader.

The chief of Effiduase Nsutam in the Sekyere East District in Ashanti region, Nana Kwaku Agyei Dwuma 11, who issued the caution, said leadership is about service but not to for self
aggrandizement,

Nana Agyei Dwuma 11 was speaking to Oyerepa News after he sworn-in six
Sub chiefs to support him to rule the community.
He said he will not hesitate to destool any of the newly sworn-in sub chiefs who will abuse his position.

On his part, Effiduase Nsutam- Sanaahene, Nana Kofi Antwe Boasiako, on behalf of the newly sworn-in sub chiefs, called on natives of Nsutam to join the chiefs to develop the community.

Hon Kofi Adade,the Assembly member for Kumawu-Dadease electoral in the Sekyere KUMAWU district of Ashanti region,has donated tubers of Yam to widows in his electoral area.to celebrate at the end of year

He said the donation was made possible through the support of individuals and corporate Institutions and called on others to also support the campaign to assist the widows in his area

According to Kumawu Dadease
Assembly member who doubles as News reporter for Oyerepa TV/Radio in Kumasi,there is the need to take care of the welfare of the widows in his electoral area is very important to him.

He explained that most of these widows in his electoral area are vulnerable and needed to be cared for.

Hon Kofi Adade further said ‘we reached out to these people through the support of some individuals and cooperate institutions.He is therefore again calling on Ghanaians to welcome him if he comes to you on behalf of the widows for assistance”.

I HAVE PROVIDE FIVE PORTABLE DRINKING WATER FOR KUMAWU DADEASE COMMUNITY - HON KOFI ADADE.

Assembly member for Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti Region, Hon Kofi Adade has account to himself the better performance he has achieved for his Community on the aspect of providing portable water.

According to him, he has provided five different mechanized drinking water for Kumawu Dadease through his DCE Samuel Addai Agyakum anb converted one bole whole to mechanized potable water with the help of Lawyer Edward Osei Kofi.

He also mentioned that, right from 1985, the community were using manpower bole whole water until 2019 that he became the assembly member for electoral area.

He appealed to them to vote for him in the upcoming assembly elections to assist him continue his good work for the electoral area.

The member of parliament for Kumawu constituency Hon Ernest Yaw Anim has admonished parents to pay much attention to their school going children to enable them benefits from the NPP government free senior high school policy.

He said since parents and guidances are the key stakeholders of their children there is a need to play a key role of taking good care of them.

Hon Ernest Anim was speaking to Hon Kofi Adade when he presented prospectus to some BECE candidates who came out with best grade to proceed to senior high schools.

The member of parliament during his visit during 2023 BECE centers assured the students with these packages and has fulfilled his promises made to them.

BENEFITS KUMAWU DADEASE HAS GOT IN MY 20 YEARS IN JOURNALISM - HON KOFI ADADE.

The Assembly Member of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District of Ashanti Region, Hon Kofi Adade, who doubles as a senior reporter with Oyerepa 100.7 FM/TV in Kumasi, have had many benefits in my 20 years of journalism.

I Hon Kofi Adade the assembly member for Dadease electoral area have supported my people in many ways of development especially in the aspect of health and education.

In the year 2012, the people of Kumawu Dadease were suffering from hepatitis B which was killing them so I spoke with some doctors who came and assisted them with screening and medication which has currently freed them from this killer disease.

In 2014, I provided 17 computers to Dadease Agrie Senior High School and 20 laptop to Dadease basic schools to improve technology education in the community and also have being supporting the pupils with learning materials like mathematical set, pens, pencils,chop box, exercises books and many others to assist parents in caring for their kids to improve education in the area.

I have supported in getting electricity meters for the community which has prevented over loading of meters by sharing one meter to many household which could have caused fire outbreak and fighting during payment of light bills.

This is just to mention a few so I will say everyone should help his or her community in every aspect of his strength.
