YOUNG MEN GAIN SKILLS AT DON BOSCO

Climate change has affected million of Households as far as energy for power generation is concern. The Vis Ghana, a charity organisation has sponsored about thirty young men to be trained in solar installation at Don Bosco Technical Institute in sunyani, the regional capital of Bono Region.
2nd batch of the advanced training was concluded and celebrated by the successful Students.
The training was carried out within the project ''Pre-departure training courses to promote social and work integration of legal migrants in Italy'' funded by FAMI (Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund) and implemented by VIS Volontariato Internazionale per lo Sviluppo and CNOS FAP Nazionale.

VIS GHANA SUPPORT WOMEN IN AGRIBUSINESS.
Vis Ghana; a charity organisation has established a tomato processing and training site for about thirty (30)women at Kranka in Nkoranza North District.

At the handing over ceremony which was held 20th September 2022 at premises of the mini factory was graced by the Nkoranza North District Chief Executive Hon . Peter Osei Fosu, Nana Owusu Agyeman( brakune Bosomfour of Nkranka),and the Queen Mother of the town, Nanaom, Vis team, Rev father's of Techiman Catholic church, The Assembly member of Kranka Hon. Pius Owiredu and his unit committee members, Opinion leaders, women and children of the area were all present.

The Project Manager of the charity organisation Silvia indicated that, the project was funded by European Union. She stated, "our mission as an Italian organisation is to stop young women and men from migrating illegally and cross the Mediterranean sea to Italy looking for greener pastures".
"Also to alleviate poverty and empowering women to bring economic development to their respective homes" She further indicated; the organisation will continue to train these selected women to manage this facility. Provide them with basic tools and equipment to run the factory.

The District Chief Executive of Nkoranza North Assembly, Hon. Peter Osei Fosu advised the selected women to work hard and focusing on this initiative but not waiting for the government to give them job. He said" if you want be economically freedom then don't think of government work but rather doing your own business like the factory work because the value chain is huge for people to get job".
He further commended the contractor (E.E. Emmanuel City group Limited) for excellent work done and also completing the project on time.
The Assembly Engineer Mr. Jerry took the dignitaries present to inspect the operation room and other rooms of the factory.

The occasion was colourfully climaxed with prayer, traditional music and some group pictures.
