Meet: Delali Avemega is an 'artpreneur' and 'logosmith' who writes and illustrates children's books. After 15 years in the creative and advertising industry, he veered off to pursue writing. He strongly believes kids today can be engaged and enlightened through relevant creative stories and interactions. He mostly writes about original African characters and some publications of his include The Girl In The New Dress, The Little Baker, Lulu and Tambo and more for children from ages 1 - 15. He's a parent, jungle lover, minimalist, rebel on a course and seashore enthusiast with vegan and musical aspirations. He currently resides in Accra, Ghana.

We are excited to have partnered with Goethe-Institut Ghana to give our child audience the opportunity to express themselves creatively through writing and illustration this August 24th to 26th.

Parents! This class is a perfect foundation for any child interested in pursuing a career in writing, illustration, or publishing. It teaches students the basics of grammar and composition while allowing them to express their ideas in imaginative ways.

That is why we appreciate organizations like Libraries Without Walls and Geothe Institut Ghana for creating spaces in schools for students to have access to libraries, aiding in the area of literacy.

At this booth, you can pick a book in exchange for another! Our Thick, Tall Trees is one of the books you can exchange an old book for.
Yes! The idea is to encourage readers to donate old books from a stationed booth and pick up new ones in order to encourage sharing and repurposing old
books among children and the youth while maintaining an environmentally friendly way of reuse that eradicates the burning of books.
