Verse of Meditation

~The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? ~{Psalms 27:1}

~ So long as God’s people, in this time of peril, are careful to be sincere and upright, pure and undefiled in the life-practice, trusting alone in the One who is all-wise, all-merciful, full of compassion, they are walking in a safe path and will not turn aside for trifles. God is their defense, their front-guard, and their rearward. ~ {16LtMs, Ms 151, 1901, par. 17}

Nothing will prevent the strength of God,whom the strength of the righteous is. Little trust is exercise that is why we the professed child of the Creator sad and facial sorrow. Lord Jesus Christ, help us to understand your strength. Amen and Amen.

TODAY'S VERSE OF MEDITATION

~Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. ~Proverbs 16:24

~ Kind, cheerful, and encouraging words will prove more effective than the most healing medicines. These will bring courage to the heart of the desponding and discouraged, and the happiness and sunshine brought into the family by kind acts and encouraging words will repay the effort tenfold. ~{1T 306.2}

How often do you prescribed medication to others, even your word of mouth to others.Lord Jesus, help us to understand. Amen and Amen.

Take Note of the Favors

~Many professed Christians dwell too much on the dark side of life, when they might rejoice in the sunshine; they repine when they should be glad; they talk of trials when they should offer praise for the rich blessings they enjoy. They look at the unpleasant things, hoard up the disappointments, and sigh over the griefs, and, as a consequence, grow heavyhearted and sad, when, should they count up their blessings, they would find them so numerous that they would forget to mention their annoyances. If they would every day take note of the favors that are done them; if they would store their minds with the precious memory of kindnesses received, how much occasion they would find to render thanks and praise to the Giver of all good.~ ML 327.4

"Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come, will come, and will not tarry." Look up, look up, and let your faith continually increase. Let this faith guide you along the narrow path that leads through the gates of the city of God into the great beyond, the wide, unbounded future that awaits the overcomer. Heed the encouragement in the words, "Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and the latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts; for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."

Let us be found "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer." The Lord has made every provision that we shall have strong hope. If we are true to our covenant with God, the blessing is certain,--as certain as God's promise can make it. And so great is the blessing that it will be a full and sufficient reward for all the self-denial and self-sacrifice that for Christ's sake we have shown here below. {The Review and Herald, November 24, 1904}

Our Daily Bread: Patient In Tribulation
Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer. Romans 12:12
February 14
"The great day of the Lord is near; it is near, and hasteth greatly." Every hour, every minute, is precious. We have no time to spend in faultfinding and contention. All around us there are souls perishing in sin. Every day there is something to do for the Master. Every day we are to point souls to the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Be always ready; "in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." Go to your rest at night with every sin confessed. Thus we did in 1844, when we expected to meet our Lord. And now this great event is nearer than when we first believed. Be always ready, in the evening, in the morning, and at noon, that when the cry is heard, "Behold, the Bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him!" you may, even though awakened out of sleep, go forth to meet him with your lamps trimmed and burning.

*THE VOICE OF GOD, TODAY 5 January 2024*

Heavenly Father,in the Most Holy place we praise you in the beloved name, Jesus Christ.

" *But this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark.* "Philippians 3:13, 14

*Today's Meditation* :Don't let anything sidetrack you(1)

*Do not allow anything to turn you aside from the path of self-denial. Of those who in ancient times engaged in contests of physical strength, we read,*

“ And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.” (1 Corinthians 9:25, KJV.).

*As we engage in the great struggle, let us think of what we shall lose if we fail. We shall lose the eternal life purchased for us by the blood of the Son of God. Shall we, then, grudge the toil of eternal vigilance?*

If we do all in our power to resist evil and surmount obstacles, we shall gain the victory. Vigor will reward the efforts made to press toward the prize of our high calling in Christ. (This Day With God page 374.1

*As a snare Satan will employ every means available to sidetrack the people from holy course , none is free from such temptation and yet the Prince in the Heavenly Sanctuary has said "I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abide in me, and I in him, the same bring forth much fruit: for without me you can do nothing."* John 15:5 . *This is our victory against sidetrack, even staying in his word.* Amen.

Verse of the Day

Isaiah 58:10

And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

Commentary:

Practical work will have far more effect than mere sermonizing. We are to give food to the hungry, clothing to the naked, and shelter to the homeless. And we are called to do more than this. The wants of the soul, only the love of Christ can satisfy. If Christ is abiding in us, our hearts will be full of divine sympathy. The sealed fountains of earnest, Christlike love will be unsealed. God calls not only for our gifts for the needy, but for our cheerful countenance, our hopeful words, our kindly handclasp. When Christ healed the sick, He laid His hands upon them. So should we come in close touch with those whom we seek to benefit. COL 417.4-COL 418.1

Verse of the Day

Judges 14:3
Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Commentary:

How many are pursuing the same course as did Samson! How often marriages are formed between the godly and the ungodly, because inclination governs in the selection of husband or wife! The parties do not ask counsel of God, nor have His glory in view. Christianity ought to have a controlling influence upon the marriage relation, but it is too often the case that the motives which lead to this union are not in keeping with Christian principles. Satan is constantly seeking to strengthen his power over the people of God by inducing them to enter into alliance with his subjects; and in order to accomplish this he endeavors to arouse unsanctified passions in the heart. PP 563.2
Marriage is a Divine institution from the Bible, Genesis 2 and therefore all the steps leading to the union of responsible man and woman must be careful calculated in the light of Bible standard so that Divine laws are transgressed. To ensure God guidance through the marriage life ensure that the pillars , even God's Ten commandments are not transgressed. Pray and Bible studies are vital in this enrollment to the institution of marriage.Lord Jesus Christ help us.

FRUITING TIME:LORD HELP US INWARD CORRUPTION.
There is a language that our soul lack and only you (God) can supply -the need of change of heart, Oh Lord Jesus Christ open our eyes the inhabitants (individual) of the earth that we loose not every day declaration of thy glory in the work of thy hands. Help us to understand the speech they throughout the world the work of thy hands preach. We surrounded by God's faithful declaration of his glory everywhere but we don't perceived. This saying is us " For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them."Acts 28:27.Master Jesus Christ, ...
you gave your life for our worthless life contaminated with sin.Master calm down the sea of deception and doubt and help us to know you personally duties of abiding in you.Blessed is he that the God that makes heaven and earth answers him in his word daily.Though we are weak but glory and honor belongs to God who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before his own glory with exceedingly joy,

Hold fast dearly beloved pilgrim, for the Bible and created things are the evidence that God will save us from this inward corruption of our character. Amen.

Verse of the Day
Proverbs 12:22
Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
Commentary:

From the stern punishment meted out to those perjurers, God would have us learn also how deep is His hatred and contempt for all hypocrisy and deception. In pretending that they had given all, Ananias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit, and, as a result, they lost this life and the life that is to come. The same God who punished them, today condemns all falsehood. Lying lips are an abomination to Him. He declares that into the Holy City “there shall in no wise enter ... anything that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie.” Revelation 21:27. Let truth telling be held with no loose hand or uncertain grasp. Let it become a part of the life. Playing fast and loose with truth, and dissembling to suit one's own selfish plans, means shipwreck of faith. “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth.” Ephesians 6:14. He who utters untruths sells his soul in a cheap market. His falsehoods may seem to serve in emergencies; he may thus seem to make business advancement that he could not gain by fair dealing; but he finally reaches the place where he can trust no one. Himself a falsifier, he has no confidence in the word of others. AA 75.3
The same Spirit of God that gave scriptures is ready to produce the purpose of given the word in us. Lord Jesus Christ, lead us in thy way. Amen

Verse of the Day
Acts 1:7
And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

The servant of the Lord was inspired to give a Commentary:

The times and seasons God has put in His own power. And why has not God given us this knowledge?—Because we would not make a right use of it if He did. A condition of things would result from this knowledge among our people that would greatly re**rd the work of God in preparing a people to stand in the great day that is to come.... Jesus has told His disciples to “watch,” but not for definite time. His followers are to be in the position of those who are listening for the orders of their Captain; they are to watch, wait, pray, and work, as they approach the time for the coming of the Lord; but no one will be able to predict just when that time will come; for “of that day and hour knoweth no man.” You will not be able to say that He will come in one, two, or five years, neither are you to put off His coming by stating that it may not be for ten or twenty years.... We are not to know the definite time either for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit or for the coming of Christ. Mar 136.2.

Christ is coming again and are you ready to meet him.Ask him to change you if you compare the incomparable righteous character of his to yours in the Bible.Christ character was manifest in all that obey the call of salvation from sin from Genesis to Revelation,Amen.

Verse of the Day
Job 31:6
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.

Commentary:

Shall there be written, “Weighed in the balance, and found wanting”? If found wanting in the day of God it will be a terrible thing, therefore we want to be closely examining our own motives and actions by the holy law of God, to repent of every act of transgression, and as sinners lay hold of the merits of Christ to supply the deficiency. The blood of Christ alone will do this. OHC 139.5
Each must prayer to God to understand what God's searching Spirit reveal for the need of corrections of the heart.Fatal to be in this motive " Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

But the loving God says
"I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."
Revelation 3:17-20
Amen.

Verse of the Day

Psalms 119:1
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.

Commentary:

From the study of the words of life, students may come forth with minds expanded, elevated, ennobled. If they are, like Daniel, hearers and doers of the word of God, they may advance as he did in all branches of learning. Being pure-minded, they will become strong-minded. Every intellectual faculty will be quickened. They may so educate and discipline themselves that all within the sphere of their influence may see what man can be, and what he can do, when connected with the God of wisdom and power. 8T 323.1

GOODNESS OF GOD LEAD YOU TO REPENTANCE

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.John 8:7
Those who are most guilty of wrong, are the first to see wrong; therefore let every church-member see to it that his own heart is pure before God, that his name is not only written on the church books, but registered in the Lamb's book of life. Then he will not be a judge of his brethren, he will not be a despiser of those whom he considers defective. He will remember the words of the apostle, “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.... And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?” RH January 10, 1893, par. 7

2 Corinthians 5:7
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Commentary:

If we educated our souls to have more faith, more love, greater patience, a more perfect trust in our heavenly Father, we would have more peace and happiness as we pass through the conflicts of this life. The Lord is not pleased to have us fret and worry ourselves out of the arms of Jesus. He is the only source of every grace, the fulfillment of every promise, the realization of every blessing.... Our pilgrimage would indeed be lonely were it not for Jesus. “I will not leave you comfortless,” (John 14:18) He says to us. Let us cherish His words, believe His promises, repeat them by day and meditate upon them in the night season, and be happy. OHC 120.4

Thought the must of man have sorrow and fear because on not taking God at his word, it is written of Christ "upholding all things by the word of his power Hebrews 1:3" which you and I are part. Lean on Christ Jesus, behold him in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Amen

HUMILITY TO RECEIVE SALVATION

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Commentary:

None of the apostles or prophets ever claimed to be without sin. Men who have lived nearest to God, men who would sacrifice life itself rather than knowingly commit a wrong act, men whom God had honored with divine light and power, have confessed the sinfulness of their own nature. They have put no confidence in the flesh, have claimed no righteousness of their own, but have trusted wholly in the righteousness of Christ. So will it be with all who behold Christ.... WGD 146.2

20/01/2022

Romans 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Commentary:

The law reveals to man his sins, but it provides no remedy. While it promises life to the obedient, it declares that death is the portion of the transgressor. The gospel of Christ alone can free him from the condemnation or the defilement of sin. He must exercise repentance toward God, whose law has been transgressed; and faith in Christ, His atoning sacrifice. Thus he obtains “remission of sins that are past” and becomes a partaker of the divine nature. He is a child of God, having received the spirit of adoption, whereby he cries: “Abba, Father”! RC 47.2

Can you stay in sin because you have been pardon? No, no! The wages of it we cannot bear, even eternal separation from God.

19/01/2022

John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Commentary:

The Lord saw our fallen condition; He saw our need of grace, and because He loved our souls, He has given us grace and peace. Grace means favor to one who is undeserving, to one who is lost. The fact that we are sinners, instead of shutting us away from the mercy and love of God, makes the exercise of His love to us a positive necessity in order that we may be saved. Christ says, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain” (John 15:16). 1SM 347.3

This is a joyful calling, we must heed the invitation, Read the Bible and pray for understanding and strength from God. Amen

18/01/2022

Revelation 3:20
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Commentary:

I saw that many had so much rubbish piled up at the door of their heart that they could not get the door open. Some have difficulties between themselves and their brethren to remove. Others have evil tempers, selfish covetousness, to remove, before they can open the door. Others have rolled the world before the door of their heart, which bars the door. All this rubbish must be taken away from the door, and then can they open the door, and welcome the Saviour in. 4bSG 28.5

And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever"¹ that is why we are both warned and counseled " And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."²
¹1 John 2:17;²Romans 12:2
Amen

17/01/2022

HUMBLE AT JESUS CHRIST FEET, YOU BE A BLESSING TO OTHER.
Psalm 51:13
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Commentary:

The humblest and poorest of the disciples of Jesus can be a blessing to others. They may not realize that they are doing any special good, but by their unconscious influence they may start waves of blessing that will widen and deepen, and the blessed results they may never know until the day of final reward. They do not feel or know that they are doing anything great. They are not required to weary themselves with anxiety about success. They have only to go forward quietly, doing faithfully the work that God's providence assigns, and their life will not be in vain. Their own souls will be growing more and more into the likeness of Christ; they are workers together with God in this life and are thus fitting for the higher work and the unshadowed joy of the life to come. (SC 83.2)

NO individual can boast of being in the middle ground of the great Controversy between right and wrong, conviction of sin and ignorant of sin. When you are convicted your own sins, humbly lay the burden at The Master Jesus feet and when he impart his righteousness to you "with the washing of water by the word" Ephesians 5:26 ,then you will be blessing to others. What you have, you can give.Amen

13/01/2022

Romans 1:17
For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Commentary:

A Growing Understanding of Faith—The righteousness of Christ is revealed from faith to faith; that is, from your present faith to an increased understanding of that faith which works by love and purifies the soul. 6BC 1067.5

Each individual must look unto Jesus Christ, who is the author and finisher our faith in the lens of the Bible.Because he doesn't speak outside the scriptures.Though human mind may stubbornly accuse the Divine wisdom that gave the Bible when their deeds and works speak contrary to the Bible but they refuse the Strength God gives to harmonized individual with his word.Every disobedience to what God has revealed in his word is a sure evidence of saying that that unspeakable wisdom is archaic.
God is ready to save you and me.We cannot do anything to change ourselves but we only trust his saving power in Jesus Christ wrought by miraculously what is given in the Bible. It is of value,I mean the Bible.Amen

Matthew 15:3
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Commentary:

The will of God plainly revealed in his word, was covered up with error and tradition, which have been taught as the commandments of God. But although this heaven-daring deception was to be suffered to be carried on down through time until the second appearing of Jesus, yet through all this time of error and deception, God has not been left without a witness. There have been true and faithful witnesses keeping all of God's commandments through the darkness and persecution of the church. 1SG 111.1
To day, even now you and me can be a faithful witnesses for the truth if and only if we allowed the truth to work in us for our personal salvation as well as blessing others with the message of salvation through us. God is ever ready for you, go to Him , dearly beloved friend. Amen

04/01/2022

Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Commentary:

This promise will never fail. We cannot enjoy the favor of God unless we comply with the conditions upon which His favor is bestowed. By so doing there will come to us that peace, contentment, and wisdom that the world can neither give nor take away.... A humble mind and a grateful heart will elevate us above petty trials and real difficulties. The less earnest, energetic, and vigilant we are in the service of the Master, the more will the mind dwell upon self, magnifying molehills into mountains of difficulty.... CC 370.2

The more you align yourself with pure and holy things taught in the Bible, more you faith glows in God and the strains of this life toils and cares of this earth start loosing. The mind start to dwell on character preparation, the greatest want in of this world and world to come wherein dwell righteousness alone, and can contain righteous people.

The events and real life senarios in Bible from the first word of the first chapter of the first book of the bible,Genesis down to the last chapter of the last word of book of the Bible Revelation are there for every person by the aid of God's Spirit to sanctified us from sin through the merit and grace of Christ Jesus,Amen.

John 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Commentary:

There are conditions to the fulfillment of God's promises, and prayer can never take the place of duty. “If ye love Me,” Christ says, “keep My commandments.”... Those who bring their petitions to God, claiming His promise while they do not comply with the conditions, insult Jehovah. They bring the name of Christ as their authority for the fulfillment of the promise, but they do not those things that would show faith in Christ and love for Him. COL 143.2

Many people think of neglecting the sowing (doing the will of God express in the Bible) and waiting for the blessed results to all who sowed them. Impossible in God's eyes but to human is possible.. Nevertheless that fulfills the scriptures"As the heavens is far from the earth, east from the West so as my thought is different from yours" said the Lord.
Begin to see things as God sees it, even as express in the Bible because "thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven" and not us on earth. Amen.

Joshua 1:9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Commentary:

Hope and courage are essential to perfect service for God. These are the fruit of faith. Despondency is sinful and unreasonable. God is able and willing “more abundantly” to bestow upon His servants the strength they need for test and trial....For the disheartened there is a sure remedy—faith, prayer, work. Faith and activity will impart assurance and satisfaction that will increase day by day.... In the darkest days, when appearances seem most forbidding, fear not. Have faith in God. FLB 156.5,6

Study the Bible for faith; in the Bible, even there you can look to the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ. Amen.
