GHANAIANS HAVE REALLY REGRETTED VOTING FOR AKUFO ADDO – PROPHET BADU KOBI SPEAKS
Barely 5 years after Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was re-elected as President of the Republic, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi is a firm believer that Ghanaians as we speak are unhappy Akufo Addo’s administration adding that they had regretted voting him in power.
Speaking in an interview, the man of God stated: “I prophesied after the elections that I give this government only six months, after six months, Ghanaians will start complaining. If I am lying, look for yourself. I don’t hate him but I speak the truth.”
He again prophesied that the woes of the country will keep on escalating as long as Akufo Addo rem Ghana’s president.
“Nana Akufo-Addo…I see spiritually that his coming to Ghana to rule doesn’t go well for Ghana. And I can say so boldly anywhere and explain. His coming is never good for Ghana as Ghanaians will be complaining a lot in his administration.,” he noted.

The Supreme Court of Ghana is about to deliver what many citizens say is the most predictable court ruling in their lifetime.

Yet, some think it's unlawful to predict rains even when clouds are almost pouring to the ground.

It's obvious that the incumbent, the Court, Peace Council and other relevant bodies are disturbed about post-judgement issues. This may be because of how the largest opposition reacted to what they consider rigged elections on their journey to the SC.

About half of the nation believes that the SC Justices helped the EC Chair to avoid interrogation to hide the truth, hence, the court may not deliver justice.

The other half thinks the court has done a good job so far. To them, preventing Jean Mensa from being interrogated is the right thing to do legally.

Both sides already know what is yet to be told the nation just that with about half of the nation not percieving justice in this regard, the establishment is worried.

Former SC Justice, William Atuguba, the National Peace Council and others have appealed to the nation to accept the ruling when announced and let peace reign.

My expectation is that just as the opposition accepted the 2013 ruling in pains eventhough they disagreed to the position of the court, this petitioner and his people too would do same.

My real fear, however, is that no party will go to the SC with such petitions again unless they're in power where the possibility of being supported by the SC is very high to maintain equilibrium.

And, we may see the effect in 2024 and beyond.

Meanwhile, if those responsible for the Techiman killings aren't dealt with drastically we should expect bloody encounters next time.

After this case, I suggest the EC Boss, Jean Mensa respectfully resigns. The enmity that has grown between her and the biggest opposition can never support a peaceful democracy.

We can't afford to protect her with military men and armoured cars forever. Today, the President looks more secured than her. I genuinely feel sorry for her.

And, this is all about power. Power that these men misuse and abuse to enrich themselves and their families and friends at the expense of the masses.

National Peace Council sends a 'strong' message to Mahama and Akuffo-Addo over SC's final judgement

The National Peace Council has penciled a letter over the ongoing election petition hearing at the Supreme Court. The Peace Council in the statement appeals to the parties in the petition to maintain peace after the Court's final judgement.

According to the National Peace Council, the parties should refrain from any actions that would undermine our much-vaunted peace and democracy. It also calls on all social and political commentators to make healthy comments pertaining the petition and the the judgement.

The tensions surrounding the election petition brought before the Supreme Court by the Petitioner, John Dramani Mahama is still soaring as the Court has finally decided to make the final judgement. Mahama who lost the 2020 presidential election is challenging the outcome of the election and has alleged that the EC worked in contradictions with the provisions of the constitution.

Prior to the announcement by the Chief Justice, the Supreme Court had unanimously dismissed a motion filed by the petitioner to reopen his case to enable him to subpoena Jean Mensah. The Supreme Court indicated that it was not convinced to grant the request. However, Mr. Mahama filed another application for a review of the Court's ruling, which, was also quashed on legal grounds.

As we speak now, Ghanaians are anticipating for the final judgement which has been slated for March 4, 2021. In a 2 paged statement dated February 28, 2021 and signed by Chairman of the Council, Rev. Dr. Ernest Adu-Gyamfi it calls on the;

"Former President John Dramani Mahama, the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, as well as the Electoral Commission, to strictly adhere to the ruling of the Supreme Court regardless of who wins or losses in the yet to be delivered judgement."

The Council also, "appeals to the parties to refrain from any activity that may directly or indirectly encourage their followers to disturb the peace of the country after the judgement."

Kindly disregard the story that went viral today with the headline: “Ibrahim Mahama invites ‘brother’ Owusu Bempah home for tea, pardons payment of GH¢203,000”.

There’s no such invitation extended to Owusu Bempah after the apology was issued. An amount of GHC 107,000 has been paid so far with GHC203,000 outstanding.

Mr. Ibrahim Mahama received an official apology from Owusu Bempah and apart from that, no further decision has been taken with regards to the apology from Owusu Bempah and the outstanding amount of GHC 203,000.
