Today we celebrate Anny Osabutey, the strong shoulders we standing on. With his vast experience as a seasoned journalist, having worked with the BBC and earning a CNN Award (CNN AFRICAN RADIO JOURNALIST 2012), Anny has been instrumental in shaping the dreams of many young men in Prampram and around the world.

Anny has tirelessly carried the vision of Pramciti TV on his shoulders. He is the creative brain behind every production on our channel, from festive season specials to our various shows. His dedication and leadership are the foundation of our success.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to his wonderful wife, Whitney, for her unwavering support in all that we do at Pramciti TV.

KING PROMISE NEW ALBUM DROPS JUNE 14TH

Ghanaian afrobeat crooner Gregory Bortey Newman, known in showbiz circles as King promise, says his new album drops on the 14th of June.

The Terminator hitmaker made the revelation in a post on Facebook, to thank his fans for the support he received during the just ended Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

Though he lost out to Stonebwoy for the Artist Of The Year award, King Promise scooped three awards, including the Most Popular Song of the Year with Terminator.

“ My new album drops in less than two weeks (14th)and I can’t wait to share my truest self with you,” he told his fans.

The artist was recently in Singapore and performed to a sold out crowd. PARIS, one of the newest projects, is already enjoying good airplay on all the streaming platforms.

STONEBWOY,AOTY, KP and the FUTURE!!

Apart from the usual banter fans engage in, If you know music and are objective about the year under review and the body of works produced by the artists in the category, you will never be in doubt about the quality of works Stonebwoy out.

You just have to grab the 5Dimension album, listen to each song, pay attention to arrangements from across the platform, including intro and instrumentation.

Then you review what he did with that album at the global level, including billboard charts. For the first time in my life, a Ghanaian artist performed at the Royal Albert Hall, alongside a global music institution like Angélique Kidjo, Grammy winner and one of the respected voices in the industry, whose music has the ears of those who matter.

It is not even easy to collaborate with an artist of that magnitude. Stonebwoy has really worked and he's deserving of the award. I didn't even mention that concert at the Accra Sports stadium, which had record numbers.

Those who were there will tell you about the stage craft; everything was on point. And if folks are honest, again without looking at things from musical tribal lines, he dominated the stage last night/this morning. He was in control of every aspect of the performance.

His outfit was also on point. You can't debate that. I am a great admirer of King Promise and if he had won, I wouldn't also be so bothered. We have all seen the continues growth in his craft, including top charting songs that have found expressions in far away Asia.

I have no doubt he will come back stronger and pick the AOTY, in the future. For those who want to throw attacks and shades, that is fine; it's all about of the game and that is why it is called Showbiz.

And congratulations to Charterhouse for keeping our music industry together with the award scheme. It may not always be perfect but. It has inspired similar awards schemes to be held in Ghanaian communities abroad.

That said, I look forward to the day my Dangme artist Kweku Origin, a versatile artist with command over live performances, will see his work in a category that we shall all celebrate.
