He said in the area of research, science, technology, and innovation, Africa currently had only 124 researchers per million inhabitants, with Egypt and South Africa leading with 658 and 518 researchers respectively.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday gave the assurance that government will construct a guinea fowl processing factory in the Bawku Municipality of the Upper East Region.

He said the factory would be constructed under the ‘One District, One Factory’ initiative, saying “In the same way under the ‘One District, One Factory’ policy, we are going to establish very soon, a guinea fowl processing factory here in Bawku.”
