DOBA KANDIGA CONSUMMATE PEACE WITH NON-DENOMINATIONAL PRAYERS.
All praise and Glory be to God, the giver of life and the restorer of peace. At long last, peace, calmness, love and brotherliness was restored yesterday, with the two communities drinking water and eating from one serving bowl, a symbolic gesture which marked a new transition from enmity to friendship, from hostility to tranquility, following the traditional blood cleansing ritual.
The non-denominational prayers aimed at cleansing the land and offering prayers for a peaceful resolution of the the conflict between the two communities was hugely successful with Rev. Alfred Agyenta, Bishop of the Navrongo/Bolgatanga Diocese officiating the mass along side a host of other eminent clergy from the Pentecostal and other Christian denominations.
In attendance were also Traditional worshippers and the Moslem community.
The MCE/DCE of Navrongo and Paga, the Military and police, and the mediation team made up of the eminent Chief of Sirigu and the Atarimire Royal actors, the Justice Atuguba committee and the usual local Chiefs and that of their sub-chiefs and elders were a host of dignitaries in attendance.
Also present to witness the monumental peace park deal were members of the Sahel Peace initiatives, National/Regional Peace Councils, and the Navrongo-Bolgatanga Catholic Dioces under the auspices of the Catholic Bishop Secretariat.
The activities for the day were successfully executed and a neighbouring Burkina Faso Chief, Giningo Naaba, offered a cube of tobacco to be broken by the two rival brothers to signify a complete end of the conflict and return of Peace and stability into the feuding communities.
The Chiefs of Kandiga and Doba were made to voluntarily drink water from one calabash followed by their secretaries who did same and ate from one serving bowl to demonstrate unity and togetherness and an end to the conflict as well. The two secretaries were also made to deliver messages of pea

Good day house,
We are happy to inform you that the second phase of the Kandiga Internal road maintenance came on successfully yesterday as economic activities went on in the market.
The main area of concentration was the road from the market through Longo to Bembiisi.
The youth who were so determined came out in their numbers with Changfang motors, motorkings, pickups and shovels to support in the mini construction works.
Kandiga Naaba, the Area Council Chairman, almost all assembly members and some opinion leaders were with the youth to give them morale as they carry out the resilient activities. Visitors from neighbouring communities as well as some individuals who could not take part in the work gave some small donations for the working team to get water and "zoom koum" to energize themselves.
The third phase of the continuous planned activities will be communicated as usual.
Kandiga Naaba wish to thank each an everyone for your various kinds of support yesterday that saw a successful working hours without hindrances.
