Africa has two seemingly powerful organizations—the African Union (AU) and ECOWAS—yet the continent continues to rely heavily on foreign aid. This raises a critical question: What are these institutions doing to address Africa’s persistent challenges of bad leadership and socio-economic failure?

It is not enough to simply appoint leaders; Africa wants to feel the impact of their existence. The AU and ECOWAS must move beyond rhetoric and take decisive action to promote good governance, economic self-sufficiency, and sustainable development. If these organizations truly represent Africa’s interests, their leadership must work towards real solutions that empower the continent, rather than allowing it to remain dependent on external assistance.

For those interested, President João Lourenço of Angola 🇦🇴 will serve as the African Union Chairperson for 2025, taking over from Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani of Mauritania 🇲🇷.

Here is the full leadership structure:
• 1st Vice Chair – President Evariste Ndayishimiye 🇧🇮 (Burundi, Central Region)
• 2nd Vice Chair – President John Dramani Mahama 🇬🇭 (Ghana, Western Region)
• 3rd Vice Chair – President Samia Suluhu Hassan 🇹🇿 (Tanzania, Eastern Region)
• Rapporteur – President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani 🇲🇷 (Mauritania, Northern Region)

With this leadership in place, will Africa finally see transformative policies that prioritize self-reliance and development, or will these roles remain symbolic? The time for real impact is now.

If you would allow me to offer some professional advice, I would strongly recommend refraining from further explanations. Continuing to justify yourself may diminish your relevance. It's crucial not to yield to social media pressure that compels you to continually defend and explain yourself. What truly matters is that you have succeeded and overcome your fears.

As for your husband, I advise against public appearances and interviews. If he decides to accept invitations or participate in interview panels, I suggest seeking the guidance of a coach like Ema Datey. A coach can provide training on what to say and what not to say, ensuring that he presents himself effectively and avoids potential pitfalls.

The situation with the GFA is deeply concerning and embarrassing. It's troubling that the accountant is unable to clarify their actions. Ghana needs divine intervention to address these issues. Individuals with questionable integrity should not hold government positions. It may be appropriate for the Minister of Sports to consider resigning due to perceived failure in oversight. The ongoing corruption within the GFA reflects poorly on those in positions of authority, implicating them in the wrongdoing.
