A woman in China was said to have been forced to purchase a 2,000 yuan wedding dress after being accused of leaving body odor on it while trying it on.

The incident took place when Momo visited a bridal shop with her boyfriend and tried on two wedding dresses. She mentioned that she didn't like the first dress and handed it back to the store employee who had been assisting her. Momo noticed that the employee seemed unhappy while she tried on the second dress.

Momo explained that she didn’t like the second dress either, and since there was no air conditioning, she decided to leave. However, as she and her boyfriend were about to exit the store, they were stopped and an argument reportedly took place between her boyfriend and the staff. The manager was called and after discussing the situation he allegedly pointed out that body odor had been left on the dress.

Momo defended herself, saying that the lack of air conditioning had caused her to sweat while trying on the dress and she should not be blamed. But to avoid further issues, she felt she had no choice but to pay for the dress. Momo added that she never expected the store to take such severe action over body odor.
