The Team ORAL is really working. According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, Team ORAL promptedly acted on a distress petition from government workers occupying 4 bungalows behind the State House which were about to be demolished by a faceless private developer who sent thugs claiming they paid for the land last year.

President Mahama’s National Security Committee has immediately moved in to protect the bungalows.

We have asked the government workers who are staff of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Gender, Children and Social Protection not to move out of their bungalows as demanded by the thugs.

President Mahama says no government bungalow is for sale.

Notice is hereby served that those faceless private developers may proceed for a refund from whoever they purportedly bought the state lands from.

Gunshot, a member of Dr. Likee's Akabenezer team, revealed that Strika has been sent back to Accra and is no longer part of their crew. This decision comes less than a year after Gunshot brought the young actor off the streets to join their team in Kumasi.

Gunshot, who had housed Strika during his time with the team, stated that the young actor exhibited inappropriate behaviors, which led to the decision to let him go.

Here’s the current composition of the 9th Parliament:

Parliamentary Seat Distribution
Out of the 276 total seats:

- The NPP holds 89 seats, including seven recently confirmed.

- The NDC controls 181 seats.

- Four seats are occupied by Independents.

Two constituencies, Dome Kwabenya and Ablekuma North, remain undecided.

Seven out of nine remaining constituencies have been declared. These include Obuasi East, Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Ahafo Ano North, Ahafo Ano South West, Okaikwei Central, Techiman South, and Tema Central.

All seven seats were won by the NPP. The two constituencies yet to announce results are Dome-Kwabenya and Ablekuma North.

Frank Annoh-Dompreh Retains Nsawam Adoagyiri Seat After Recount. Article by: Kingsley Kay

Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, has successfully retained his parliamentary seat for the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency following a recount of election results. He secured 29,640 votes, narrowly defeating Amenorpe Philbert Fummey of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who received 29,433 votes.

Court-Ordered Re-Collation: The recount was conducted after a High Court directive on December 20 instructed the Electoral Commission (EC) to re-collate and announce results for the Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ablekuma North constituencies, invalidating earlier announcements.

This ruling came in response to a judicial review filed by six NPP parliamentary candidates, including those from Nsawam Adoagyiri, Tema Central, Okaikwei Central, Techiman South, Ablekuma North, and Ahafo Ano North. The candidates had expressed concerns over irregularities in the initial collation process and sought a mandamus order for the EC to conduct a re-collation. They also requested enhanced security at collation centres from the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

Collation Disruptions and Tensions: The EC reported that collation at the Nsawam Adoagyiri centre was disrupted on election day, halting the process. Attempts to resume collation on December 13 also failed. Similar disruptions were recorded in other constituencies, including Dome Kwabenya, Okaikwei Central, and Tema Central, where violence and unrest interrupted proceedings.

Collation activities were later relocated to the Police Training School, a move that sparked disputes over the process and delegation of results.

The NDC has raised objections to the re-collation, insisting that results declared at polling stations should remain final. The EC’s decision to nullify earlier results has further fueled tensions in these closely contested constituencies.

With Annoh-Dompreh’s victory confirmed, focus now shifts to addressing ongoing disputes in other affected constituencies.

In line with the Transition Act, the meeting marked the beginning of the process, which includes forming a joint transition team within 24 hours to oversee the transfer of authority.
