Nana Addo Is Keen On Ascending LGBTQ+ Bill - National House of Chiefs President.
President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahohoo Nana Yaw Gyebi II is confident President of the Republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo, will ascend to the pending LGBTQ+ bill into law.
According to the Paramount Chief of the Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area in the Western North Region, the National House of Chiefs have declared their stance against the act, adding that our cultural norms frowns upon it.
Nana Gyebi II further indicated that, Ghanaians should exercise patience towards the President, and must wait for the outcome from the Supreme Court.

Local Council of Churches in Bibiani push against LGBTQ+
Spokesperson for the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Local Council of Churches Rev. Alexander Gyebi has made a passionate appeal to the President of the Republic, Nana Akuffo Addo to speed up in a bit to ascend the LGBTQ+ bill into law.
Speaking on behalf of the council, Rev. Gyebi urged the citizenry to embrace and show genuine love to people who are already in the act, as according to him, they can be fully liberated if all stakeholders exhibit genuine concern and love and on top of it intercessory prayers must be offered to them continually.

Asantefuo Hemaa of United Kingdom and Ireland, Nana Hemaa Amonoo Gyamfuah Debrah and her entourage were at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi to celebrate "Akwasidae" with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The colorful ceremony which brought together scores of dignitaries from across the world, as well as chiefs, natives and non-natives of Asanteman, was the second Akwasidae of the year 2024.
His Majesty, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, during Akwasidae rites sit in state to receive homage from his people as well as people who have come from all walks of life to witness the beautiful Ashanti culture and tradition.
Nana Hemaa Amonoo Gyamfuah Debrah, who led the delegation used the opportunity to congratulate the King for his unparalleled contributions to the development of Ghana throughout his 25 year reign on the Golden Stool.
Nana Hemaa also indicated that preparations are far advanced and needed Otumfuo's blessings to organize a spectacular "Akwasidae In The Park" in the United Kingdom on August 4, 2024.
According her, the Asantemankuo in Uk & Ireland has partnered with both Africa Helps Foundation and the "Sikadwa Mma" Group to raise funds to support the management of "Dementia" cases in Ghana, with the construction of an ultramodern facility at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital KATH Kumasi.
