Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform the general public of the release of the list of successful applicants during our just ended recruitment process.

40 students of Ejuraman Anglican SHS injured after violent rainstorm

At least 40 students of Ejuraman Anglican Senior High School in the Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region are reported injured after the roof of the school’s dining hall collapsed on them.

The incident according to reports occurred around 5:00pm on Monday February 6, 2023 during a heavy rainstorm in the area.

Five of the students were said to have suffered severe injuries while 35 others sustained minor wounds.
The students were rushed to the Ejura Government Hospital for emergency care. No death has been recorded.

The Ejura-Sekyedumase Municipal Fire Commander, Isaac Adu Yaw, suspects some structures were weakened by torrential rain in the area last Friday.

“Five of them have had multiple fractures and are receiving intensive care treatment. The injuries of the 35 are being managed, so everything is under control. The health workers are doing their utmost best to ensure everyone is safe,” he said.

The ministry of education through the GES has opened a new portal www.stem-ssp.com.gh for 2022 BECE candidates to select STEM schools for placement.
Parents who want their wards to attend STEM SHS-Kpasenkpe, should
1. Go to www.stem-ssp.com.gh
2. On the front page register and enter your

3. Send to register.
4. After registration, go back to the front page and login to start selection.

SHS students attack teachers, vandalise school property over poor WASCCE results, 40 arrested

About 40 students of Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School at Asante Asokore in the Sekyere East District of the Ashanti Region have been arrest by police.

The students according report were arrested after they vandalized school properties over poor results recorded by their predecessors.

The assembly member for Effiduase South Electoral Area who doubles as the Coordinator for Free SHS in the District, Hon Ebenezer Opoku said the unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday January 22,2023.

“A total of six cars have been destroyed by the students including four vehicles belonging to the school and two private vehicles belonging to teachers

Properties amounting to millions of cedis have been destroyed, bagalow for senior house mistress, her car, school’s notice board, stores and food stored there have all been vandalised
It took the security doors to save the principal’s room from distraction, but the dinning hall was not exempted from the chaos “.

Most of the things they destroyed are beyong repairs, including the principal’s vehicle which was provided by government”. He said

Mr Opoku however disclosed that, the Ashanti Regional Education Director, Dr Annor Ankrah together with the District Director of Education for Sekyere East Mr William Agyapong have visited the school to access the situation.

He however added that, calm have been restored at the campus by police.
