Building the local capability and developing the local industry is the key priority of GN Electronics. GN Electronics products will be sold primarily in the West African market starting with the media consumer. Electronic products are in high demand in Sub-Saharan Africa as technology becomes more available and infrastructure improves. The television digital migration taking place in 2015/2016 is a main driver for the increased need of Set Top Boxes and televisions. GN Electronics aims to become the local supplier of choice for West African economies. GN Electronics will operate locally adopting international standards from the very start. Quality controls will ensure consumer satisfaction in Ghana and West African markets. Recruitment will be conducted locally and will include women and men. On the job training will be performed in partnership with local academic institutions and international suppliers.
