FRIENDS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION GHANA OBJECTIVES 1. To promote entrepreneurship among young people in Africa, and to create networking among physical challenged entrepreneurs from Africa and the Diaspora, 2. To bring into existence the capabilities of young entrepreneurs through business skills development amongst physically challenged and provide economic independence amongst the youth of Africa. 3. To broadcast and honor the physically challenged young business men and women whose social entrepreneurship has contributed to poverty alleviation in Africa and Diaspora 4. To showcase an annual magazine of young achievers as well as personality profiles of the physically challenged to provide an opportunity for investors and funding organizations worldwide to seek partnerships for new investments on the continent. HOW FRIENDS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION GHANA CARRY OUT ITS ACTIVITIES 1.The project shall begin with concentration on within the said constituencies; the project shall identify and ascertain the condition of the respective applicants in the selected area. Having ascertain and satisfy with the condition of the said applicants, the person shall automatically be registered and hence becomes the beneficiary of the project. 2. The registered orphan children or the physically challenged at the end of every week of month is visited in various homes and groups to ascertain their living condition and to know how best they could be assisted by the project. During such visits, they may be presented with food items (rice, tea, milk, sugar etc.) 3. Periodically, we would summon all the registered beneficiaries and bring health personal to examine, screen and diagnose each of them. would take any necessary prescriptions of medicines(if any) what so ever and purchase the said drugs or medicine and deliver them accordingly 4. The project, having registered its respective Needy ones shall seek to enroll all those who are not schooling in schools. However this would be gradual process. Assistance in the form of books among others shall be given to those who are already schooling. This is to support to enhance their studies. 5. The dropouts who are matured amongst them shall be encouraged and assisted to learn vocations or trade. Those who wish to go back to school shall be assisted to do so. 6. The projects shall seek for books aids, computers, and other learning materials for the benefits of the entire community especially pupils and the student of the project. their studies shall keenly monitored by the project. 7. FRIENDS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION GHANA would periodically organize the youth within the community and bring scholars, teachers retired who are of also beneficiary of the project to share ideas and experience with them. This we believe would go a long way in shaping the lives if the youth and the building a better future for them 8. For the entire communities to benefit from the project, FRIENDS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION GHANA- would create awareness on good sanitation, the HIV/ AIDS pandemic and other social vices. These would be done through organizing of seminars, workshops, lectures, public drama, walks etc the public shall be given talks during these activities. 9. During festive occasions(Christmas, aster) FRIENDS FOR LIFE FOUNDATION GHANA- shall provide clothing or dresses to all its beneficiaries and organize a get together for the street children and the physically challenged (disable) 10. Fun games activities in sport (soccer) shall periodically be organized by the project for its beneficiaries, which shall seek to socialize them. 11. We would also visit health institutions to identify needy patients and offer assistance in the form of medical expenses, Food and Kind.
