Morning Devotional - September 21
Theme: Dealing with Witchcraft Wickedness

Verse of the Day:
Ephesians 6:10 (NIV) - "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power."

Devotional:

Good morning, beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, and happy holiday! On this day, we are focusing on the theme of dealing with witchcraft wickedness. While the world may be taking a break, the spiritual battles we face continue, and it is essential to be spiritually equipped to stand against the forces of darkness.

Witchcraft wickedness is a very real and insidious threat. It seeks to harm, manipulate, and hinder God's children. However, as believers, we have the assurance of God's Word and the power of prayer to overcome it.

Prayer Point 1: Heavenly Father, as we begin this day, we recognize that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Strengthen us in your mighty power.
Bible Verse: Ephesians 6:10

Prayer Point 2: Lord Jesus, we cover ourselves and our loved ones with the precious blood you shed for us, protecting us from all forms of witchcraft.
Bible Verse: Revelation 12:11

Prayer Point 3: Almighty God, expose and dismantle every evil altar and covenant that operates against us. Let your truth and light dispel the darkness of witchcraft.
Bible Verse: Psalm 119:105

Prayer Point 4: Lord, grant us discernment to recognize the subtle workings of the enemy, especially when witchcraft is involved. Help us to stand firm in faith.
Bible Verse: 1 Peter 5:8-9

Prayer Point 5: Father, we declare that no weapon of witchcraft formed against us shall prosper. Every curse spoken against us shall be broken.
Bible Verse: Isaiah 54:17

Prayer Point 6: Lord, fill us with your Holy Spirit, enabling us to pray without ceasing and intercede for those ensnared by witchcraft, that they may find deliverance.
Bible Verse: Romans 8:26

Prayer Point 7: Father, let your light shine brilliantly in our lives, dispelling the darkness of witchcraft and guiding us on the path of righteousness.
Bible Verse: Psalm 97:11

As we face the challenges of witchcraft wickedness, remember that we are equipped with the strength of the Lord and the authority of His Word. THEME: Arise and Do Exploits for God

Verse of the Day:
"But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." - Daniel 11:32b (NKJV)

Devotional:
In a world that often pulls us in different directions, it's essential to align ourselves with God's purposes and carry out exploits that honor Him. Let's reflect on a few key principles from Scripture that will guide us in this path.

1. Know Your God:
To carry out great exploits for God, we must first know Him intimately. Psalm 46:10 encourages us, "Be still, and know that I am God." Take time each day to be still before the Lord, seeking His presence, studying His Word, and cultivating a deep relationship with Him. Through this close communion, we will gain the strength and insight we need for the exploits He has prepared for us.

2. Trust in His Power:
As we embark on exploits for God, it's important to remember that our strength does not come from ourselves but from the Lord. Philippians 4:13 declares, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Recognize that God's power is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9), enabling us to accomplish far more than we could by relying solely on our own abilities.

3. Be Bold and Fearless:
Exploits for God require boldness and a willingness to step out in faith. Joshua 1:9 reminds us, "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." Let go of fear, doubt, and insecurity, trusting that God is by your side, leading and empowering you to impact lives for His glory.

4. Seek Divine Guidance:
To maximize our effectiveness in doing exploits for God, we must seek His guidance in all we do. Proverbs 3:6 instructs, "In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." As we surrender our plans and aspirations to God, He will direct our steps and open doors of opportunity that align with His perfect will.

Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for the privilege of serving you and being part of the exploits you have ordained for us. We ask for the guidance and strength to carry out great exploits in your name. May we intimately know you and rely on your power, boldly stepping out in faith. Give us the wisdom to seek your guidance at every turn, that our actions may bring you glory and draw others to your loving embrace. In Jesus' name, we pray, amen.

As you live out each day, be encouraged that you are not alone on this journey of exploits. Trust in the Lord, knowing that He is with you, empowering you to make a difference for His kingdom. Go forth with boldness, knowing that through God, you can accomplish great things.

Have a blissful day.

THEME: DWELLING IN THE SECRET PLACE

Psalm 91:1
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

The secret place referred to in this scripture is a place of intimacy with God. It is a place of communion where we can pour out our hearts to God and hear His voice. It is a place of safety, protection, and rest. And it is a place where we can experience the fullness of God's presence.

To dwell in the secret place of the Most High means to make it our home, our primary residence. It's not a temporary place of rest, but a permanent dwelling place. When we make God our dwelling place, we are completely covered by His protection and grace. And we have access to all the resources of heaven.

So how do we dwell in the secret place of the Most High? It starts with a desire for intimacy with God. We need to prioritize our relationship with God above everything else. We need to spend time with Him in prayer, worship, and reading His word.

We also need to be intentional about removing distractions and creating a space where we can meet with God. This could mean turning off our phone or finding a quiet place to pray and meditate on God's word.

As we make God our dwelling place, we can be assured of His protection and guidance. We can rest in the shadow of the Almighty and trust that He will take care of us. Let's make a commitment today to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and experience His presence in our lives. Amen.

THEME: Embracing God's Newness

Isaiah 43:18-19 “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Opening:
Good morning! As we begin our day, let's take a moment to reflect on the inspiring words from Isaiah 43:18-19. These verses encourage us to let go of the past and embrace the new things that God has prepared for us. Today, let's explore how we can apply this message to our lives and find hope and inspiration in God's promises.

Devotional:
In Isaiah 43:18-19, God speaks to His people, reminding them not to dwell on the former things. He urges them to forget the past and instead focus on what He is doing in the present and what He will do in the future. This message is just as relevant for us today.

1. Release the Burden of Past Mistakes:
We all have moments in our lives that we wish we could change or forget. However, dwelling on past mistakes can hinder our progress and prevent us from experiencing the fullness of God's blessings. Let's take a moment to surrender our regrets and ask God for forgiveness. Remember, in His great love and mercy, He forgives us and offers us a fresh start.

2. Embrace the Present:
As we let go of the past, we can fully embrace the present. God is constantly at work in our lives, bringing forth new opportunities, growth, and blessings. Let's open our hearts and minds to recognize the ways He is working in and around us today. Whether it's a small act of kindness or a major breakthrough, let's give thanks for the newness that God is bringing into our lives.

3. Hope in God's Promises:
When God says He is doing a new thing, we can be confident that it will come to pass. His promises are trustworthy and unwavering. Even in seasons of uncertainty or challenges, we can find hope in knowing that God is in control. Let's hold on to His promises and trust in His faithfulness, knowing that He will guide us through every step of our journey.

Closing:
As we go about our day, let's carry the message of Isaiah 43:18-19 in our hearts. Let's release the burden of our past mistakes, embrace the present with gratitude, and hold onto the hope of God's promises. May we be open to the new things God is doing in our lives and allow His love, wisdom, and guidance to lead us forward.

Remember, each new day is an opportunity for growth, transformation, and experiencing God's goodness. Have a blessed day ahead, and may God's newness fill your life with joy and purpose.

I hope this morning devotional based on Isaiah 43:18-19 brings inspiration and encouragement to your day. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!

THEME: God Has a Plan for Your Life

Welcome to this morning's devotional centered on Jeremiah 29:11, a powerful verse that reminds us that God has a purpose for our lives. Whatever you may be facing today, know that you are not alone, and God has a plan for you.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This verse is a powerful reminder that God has a plan for each and every one of us. This plan is not just any plan, but a plan that is designed to prosper us, to give us hope and a future.

It is easy to get discouraged when we face trials and challenges in life. We can lose sight of the fact that God is with us, and He has a purpose for everything that we are going through. But we must remember that God is in control, and He has a plan for us, even in the midst of difficulty.

This verse also reminds us that God's plan for us is not to harm us. Even when we face difficult circumstances, we can trust that God is working everything together for our good. His plan for us is one of love and mercy, and we can trust in His goodness.

Finally, this verse tells us that God's plan for us is to give us hope and a future. Whatever you may be facing today, know that God has not forgotten you. He has a plan for you, and His plan is one of hope and a bright future. So, take heart, have faith, and trust in God's plan for your life.

Let us pray:

Lord, we thank you for your plan for our lives. Help us to trust in you, even when we face difficult times. We thank you for your promise of hope and a future and ask that you would guide us on the path that you have for us. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Remember, no matter what you are facing, God has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, have faith, and watch as He leads you on a path of hope and prosperity.
