WE ARE UNCOMFORTABLE ON OUR ROAD BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH DUST - RESIDENTS OF KOTOKROM AND YAWHIMA

Residents of kotokrom and yawhima lements on the dusty situation on their roads because of ongoing construction of kotokrom and yawhima road.

They stated that , even though there is ongoing construction of the road but what is happening to them now is different and it is generating too much dust to their various homes, hospitals and shops ,which has brought low income to their business .

They said that, many business and shops has been closed down due to the situation on the road which has cause more harm than good
In an interview with Mrs Freda Manu the administrator at Aspire health clinic at kotokrom also stated that due to the dusty situation on the road, patients are sometimes affected with different lung diseases and which May cause more harm to their life , she said patients with Asthmatic disease do suffer most because of the situation on the road.

She plead with the government and the contractor to help speed up the ongoing project to prevent people from getting sick .

In an interview with Isaac mensah who happens to be the Aid of the contractor and SCL constructions also explain to us on how work on the road is ongoing. he said even though there is dusty on the road not because they are not doing their work well but is because the drivers on those road turn to over speeding at where the construction is ongoing and which generate more dust to people living in those areas .
He said the duration of the contract is 2year and they are doing everything possible to get things done in time, he also pleaded with residence to co operate with them for a successful project .
