I woke up on Sunday morning feeling tired and stressed—tired of staying indoors and using my phone. So, I decided to take a walk from my place, Abokoko Street in Community 2, to Mess in Community 1.

Walking alone on the quiet stretch, I spent time in solitude, fantasizing about how glorious my future would be. I was lost deep in my momentarily self-created palace of glamour, riches, and merriment. I only snapped out of my daydreaming frenzy when I had to capture one of the beautiful pictures you see.

Bringing you pictures of beautiful places in my community and district brings me joy because it evokes memories for some people.

On my journey, I made a detour to my friend Edna Oliver Asare, who gladly prepared me some toasted bread with well-fried egg. Oh, gosh! I enjoyed every bit of it. I completed the rest of the journey through the bush way, went through Combine, and headed to the quarters, exhausted.
