MONTH OF GIVING
{OBTAINING BLESSING FOR NEXT YEAR }
What does it pay to fight over something, even yours or not? The ability to give what you have out doesn’t mean you have lost it. What goes around comes around, giving hold more blessings than taking, To again more you got to understand that you have to lose something, the fat that you lose it doesn’t mean you have lost it.
1 Kings 3:26 Then the mother of the living child said to the king, for she yearned over her son, O my lord, give her the living baby, and by no means slay him. But the other said, Let him not be mine or yours, but divide him.
1 Kings 3:27 Then the king said, Give her [who pleads for his life] the living baby, and by no means slay him. She is the child's mother.
The real mother understands that losing her child to the other woman doesn’t means she have lost the child. But what so ever you give out willingly must sure comes back to you.
Luke 9:24 For whoever would preserve his life and save it will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will preserve and save it [from the penalty of eternal death].
Luke 9:25 For what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits (loses) himself?
What Jesus Christ was telling us is that, we don’t fight or trying to protect what we have in the name of trying to get more, but we give out and we receive more. Spending time protecting that one thing you have hold you in bo***ge to look for more, because you will be protecting not searching, also giving out that one thing challenge you to look for more, because there’s nothing to protect so you search for more.
James also said something powerful, we are fighting and killing one another all because of what we lust. Meaning all this killings and fighting are not base on what to give or share but what we want to own James 4:1 from whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
James 4:2 You lust, and have not: you kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: you fight and war, yet you have not, because you ask not.
James 4:3 you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives [not to share it]. Your intention is to spend it in sensual pleasures.
We lack because we are not willing to share or give. December is the month of Sharing to be able to obtain blessing into the new year, this Christmas share, give and you will be a blessing for the new year.
