If there’s one thing you can do in Accra, it’s find interesting food spots to go to! My first Taco Tuesday with @laborrachagh was a whole vibe 🌮 What I like about them a lot (apart from the super friendly staff, wow!) is the fact that you can really customize your order. From hard shell, soft shell, flour or corn tacos, to either fried or grilled toppings - we love it. On Taco Tuesdays you get 20% off all Tacos & Tostadas (from 12pm till 12am), as well as Happy Hour from 5pm. All in all a really nice place, I would definitely go again!
Have you tried a pilates class in Accra before? 🧘🏽♀️ • • • • • #accra#ghanamade#blackhistory#ghana#accraghana#pilates#pilatesgirl#madeinghana#ghanafun#leisure#ghanaactive#tipsandtricks#traveller#travellife#FBblogger#ghanaphotography#afroyage
If you’re looking for a comfortable cafe to work remotely, Accra has some great options. One of the best is 📍Kwae Terrace, which offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of space to work. They have an indoor and outdoor seating are and a huge conference table to work from. Another great option is 📍 The Good Baker, which is my personal favourite. They offer delicious coffee and quick WiFi. The bohemian interior design and comfortable seating areas seem to attract a lot of people, since they cafe seems to be busy most of the time. There are so more cafes worth checking out, so stay tuned for part 2! • • • • #traveltiktok#movingabroad#movingtoghana#ghanatiktok#movingbackhome#afroyag#accra#cafes#remotework#coffeelovers

I finally did it! I packed my bags and made THE MOVE. 🛫📍🇬🇭 It’s something I’ve been working towards the last couple of years & I am grateful to be exactly where I’m supposed to be today. My plan was always to: 1. Own a house in Accra so I won’t have to rent anymore 2. Work for an international organization as an Expat 3. Be able to afford a lifestyle that I can sustain long-term So now that I am based in Accra tell me: What would you want to see more? Which kind of posts are you interested in? Gone are the days of carrying just Cerelac and Milo - we have reached a point where carrying smoked fish and frozen waakye seems like the norm. 😂 On this trip I took a whole GALLON of palm wine back home (alongside: Sobolo, Pepper, Smoked Fish and Garden Eggs…) The struggle to create home away from home. 🥲 Which items are you guilty of carrying abroad? • • • • • #accra#ghanamade#blackhistory#ghana#accraghana#dettydecember #madeinghana#ghanafun#leisure#ghanaactive#ghanaindecember#tipsandtricks#traveller#travellife#FBblogger#ghanaphotography#blackhistorymonth##afroyage

Two Top Locations to visit in Aburi to relax and wind down! 1. Aburi Bio - @aburibio A hidden gem that you can not miss out on! My tip: if you happen to go on weekdays then chances are high for you to even be alone there and have the pool all for yourself! 2. Hillburi - @hillburi You might have heard form Hillburi already - a serene place up in the hills of Aburi, where you can just go and relax! It tends to get a bit more busy during December but is still less crowded than many other places in Accra. Have you already been to Aburi?
