I can’t keep it to myself any longer…

One afternoon, the same child I was carrying when I lost my career in December nearly 11 years ago, walked through the door glowing.

“Mummy… guess what?”
“I’m playing Mary in the Christmas play!”

I froze for a moment.

Growing up in Ghana, the girls chosen to play Mary were always light in complexion.

It was rare,almost unheard of, to see someone who looked like us in that role.

So hearing my daughter say those words…

It touched a place in me I didn’t even know still needed healing.

God was already showing me something deeper.

I can’t keep it to myself any longer…
December is my birth month, but it also marks a turning point in my life.

Nearly 11 years ago, in December, I lost my career after an accident at work while 7 months pregnant. It was a season of uncertainty, transition, and quiet pain, one that forced me to rebuild my life with God’s help.

But even in difficult seasons, God is working behind the scenes, weaving restoration into our story.

This moment was the beginning of a testimony I didn’t know was coming.

So many mothers are growing quietly , juggling their families, their responsibilities, their dreams, and their healing all at the same time. And often, no one sees the strength it takes.

As a mother, returning to study, rebuilding my life, and navigating responsibility taught me that growth is not a straight line. It is a gentle, steady unfolding, and God gives grace for every step.

As mothers, we carry so much, our children, our responsibilities, our dreams, and sometimes our silent struggles. Through every season, God kept reminding me:

2022 — Foundation Year at St Mary’s 🎓

At first, I didn’t like the idea of doing a foundation after spending three years in college.

It felt like starting over. But now I see, you can’t build on a weak foundation.

If the base isn’t strong, the whole building will fall apart.

Sometimes you have to go back, rebuild, and strengthen what’s beneath so you can stand the storms ahead.

Starting again doesn’t mean failure, it means wisdom.

This was me in 2021, presenting my Functional Skills Level 2 project, the quiet beginning of a dream I didn’t yet understand.

I had no idea that what started in that moment would one day become an Amazon #1 Bestseller within just two weeks of publication.

From a simple classroom project to a global platform, proof that small beginnings still carry divine purpose.

Calm Mamas™️ was born from this same faith: that what starts small, when nurtured with intention and prayer, can grow into something extraordinary.

Don’t despise your beginnings,they’re preparing you for your breakthrough.

And remember, that dream, after all, it’s your dream. Trust God to take you through the process. He will send the right people your way at every step of your journey.
