We'd like to bid farewell to one of Tokyo Esports' greatest treasures, my Cynic!

My Cynic, you've always made me the happiest even when you barely tried to. It's the little things about your team; your tiktoks, your tampuhans, your bola of "wag niyo nga awayin yung pinaka maganda at pinaka mabait na cm natin", Gie changing his codm avatar to me as a chicken haha, Ruqa sending about a million pictures of his dinosaur stuffed toy, Zman's "paraluman", Josh's "hohoho" tawa and "socket!", Raf's "pano naman ako", your subtle reassurance when I overthink, your "baket si zman lagi nasa tokyo page", your panic when I held a 'meeting' at 2am when in reality I was drunk talaga, I held onto these little things. Not just in a mere clan master way, but in a way that the idea of being blessed enough to get to know each one of you in the tiniest ways really did keep me going.

You constantly say na I helped you grow and learn, but so did you. Within those four months, you showed me what it's like to have so much faith and warmth and attachment in a team that went beyond just talent and skills. I hope you find whatever you guys are looking for. I hope you know na even through all the stress, you still somehow managed to be my pahinga. And most of all, sana alam niyo na hahanap hanapin ko kayo palagi, hints and traces of Cynic in every team I encounter.

Like you said, clan tag lang nagbago. I'm still here and you'll always have a place in Tokyo. Whenever you feel overwhelmed or unfamiliar, reach out to me and I'll remind you why I never hesitated sa kahit ano pag dating sainyo. We wish you all the best, you made it so easy for me to love you Cynic, goodluck!!

Even before you joined Tokyo Esports, I have watched you grow into a team deserving of every good thing CODM has to offer. You've faced every single challenge with your heads high, and even through the moments which made it seem impossible for you to survive and bounce back stronger, you held on to the parts of you who had much more to prove. You cling onto your concealed faith as a team, and that is why I chose you, my Cynic. Because you always find your way back. Because no amount of despair nor defeat could ever truly put out your fire. It will always be a part of you, my boys, and nobody could ever take that away from you. We'd like to congratulate and thank our one and only Tokyo Cynic for their sensational entrance to Tokyo Esports as they carried us to the top of the world last night at the Ways of War matches!

Our Cynic, words couldn't simply express how happy I am that I get to hold your hands through every wins, loss, every hour of blazing glory, every hour of anticlimax disappointment. There were hundreds of people on there looking forward to the matches of M420 Lowkings, C8 Esports, and XDiamond Gaming, but I never really had the chance to look away from you even for a second. Ever since you were in AEG, I've had my eyes on you and only you; which is why I could never thank you enough for simply being you, for being everything I've dreamt of in a team. I think the world of you, Cynic. Always have and always will.

Last night, I could never truly understand why you had to apologize or say 'bawi kami', when only few days in, you've already taken us places nobody else could. With each 'sorry, bawi kami next time', I could only ever think of one thing — I want to spend the rest of my days showing you that there is nothing you could ever do to let me down. But I hope you know that I'll always be right there with you, if you'd allow me. As I've told you before, there is nothing more in this world I want than to be the first person you run to whenever something good happens to your team. That offer still stands, my girls. My ODM, it has been a great pleasure being the one to showcase your unmatched skills to the world, being the one to 'shoutcast' with a smile on my face, with so much certainty that there's nothing in this world I would trade you for. Even though I offered you a slot to this tournament just a day before it started, as a team backed out last minute, you still managed to dominate each and every round.
