BREEDING EVENT!

"Breeding Event for the Ten Millionth Axie

Hey Trainers, we have some very exciting news! In the upcoming days, the ten millionth Axie will be born. We want to celebrate with a Breeding event. The trainer who breeds the ten millionth Axie will win a Tanuki Mystic land item. Per our TOS, no automation will be allowed. Any violation of the TOS will result in all Axies in the offending account and connected accounts being banned and the trainer being disqualified from the event. Please review our TOS at https://axieinfinity.com/terms prior to the Breeding event. Below is also a snippet of the TOS which refers to the rules for a breeding event.

(5) you will not access the Site, the App and the Smart Contracts through automated and non-human means, whether through a bot, script or otherwise. Except as expressly mentioned herein;

Breeding, EXCEPT when there is a breeding event happening. Axie Infinity will announce these events at least 1 week in advance on Discord and Twitter. Interacting with the breeding smart contracts directly during breeding events is expressly prohibited.

To be clear, this one week advance notice is a warning that you should disable your automated breeding before Axie 10M is born. If you cannot monitor your automation until Axie 10M is born you should disable it now.

Season 19 is live!

- PVP season 19 is live with 3,000 AXS in rewards (currently valued at $400,000+) and the season will last for 6 weeks.
- We’ve launched a major rebalancing patch based on data collected over the past months.
- MMR has been reset to seasonal: everyone begins with 1,200
- We’ve adjusted the formulas for both bonus damage on critical strikes as well as the skill stats effect on bonus damage for combos.

Players do not need to update their game, this patch is server-side only.

THE GAME IS STILL BEING PATCHED LIVE!

"The game is still being patched live. While changes to the game are always tested thoroughly before they are introduced to the live servers, this is simply one of those bugs that required a real size environment before we could detect it.

Due to the complexity and length of this issue, we will push another update when things are back to normal. Expect maintenance mode to be on and off in this period. You might periodically be able to play, and while this doesn't risk any of your assets getting banned, you might lose your energy in the process. Most of the issues that are being reported are most likely related to these updates and troubleshooting will have to wait. Any comments such as "all assets are gone" will be considered FUD. Your assets are safe as always, but they might not show up as they should while the engineers are in action."

• Challenges are back! You can now challenge a trainer on your friend's list to a friendly duel.

• Accounts under 800 MMR will no longer receive SLP from adventure, arena, or the daily quest.

• Temporarily, match history will not be saved on our servers and can only be accessed from the client device with which you played the match.

• We have made a small update to the Ronin Block Explorer for how some addresses are displayed.

Once the maintenance period is complete you can update to the latest version, please see the instructions for your specific platform below:

AXIE LEVEL CHANGES (Will affect your Breeding Method)

"In the coming weeks, possibly as soon as next week, we are excited to release an update for the game. We are still working on the final details, but one feature will change how Axie levels reset when sent to a new account.

Once this new update is released, an Axie’s level will reset to level one when gifted. It will no longer require being synced in-game. Just the act of giving the Axie will reset its level.

We realize this could impact your breeding methods, so we wanted to inform you early on so you can make any necessary adjustments. Ultimately, these changes are needed to prevent abuse of the energy system."

Please remember there are many scams going around, including a recent one which sends emails to trainers of Axie Infinity. Never enter your secret recovery phrase (seed phrase) on any website or give it to anyone. If a website, Google form, or person in your DMs ask for your secret recovery phrase it is a scam. Axie Infinity never needs your secret recovery phrase for any purpose.

How to Keep your Account Safe?

Please never give out the secret recover phrase (what we use to call the seed phrase).

Never send it to anyone and never enter it on any website. Axie will never ask you for it and we never need it.

Two MMR System

There have been some questions regarding the MMR system so I want to clarify how it works.

Right now we have two MMR systems. One for seasons and one for offseason.

Once a season is over the seasonal MMR is immediately reset and players transition into using their offseason MMR. This offseason MMR is currently permanent.

Once the new season begins all players will begin fresh at the same seasonal MMR.
