The illusion of control is deceptive. None of us are ever really in control in a random chaotic universe. To think we are is just folly. However, we can see the ebb and flow of it. The ley lines, as they are often called, are bolts of energy you can latch on to that will send you streaming and careening to a new fate. Sometimes changing the very fabric of the tapestry of the universe. You have to be real careful with ley lines.

Portia needs to let her inner self out. I bet if she can she will blossom like a lotus flower. Becoming a thousand times what she is right now. She has charisma and that is a rare gift. Crazy to think my head injury and brain scan have something to do with me being on this show. That is a mite suspicious if you ask me. I mean, that's the point, however, that does make me think maybe we AREN'T dead. However, it could still easily be that the aliens that run human society noticed us and our brain scans. Maybe they even want to harvest our brains for some kind of alien soup. I would probably have a pretty delicious brain.

Karen sent me a smiley face back. My work here is done. Glad Azar isn't the type of girl to get jealous because I'm talking to another girl, or not want to have any male friends herself. After all, our memories are far from perfect -- do we not lose time every day? What did you do right after breakfast this morning? How about what you did last Tuesday at 12:34PM? We are adrift in the sea of time and our memories are just reactions to our relationship to that fact.

Everyone seems to be pretty down on Karen the last few days. I hope the poor girl doesn't take it too much to heart. She can be a bit of a tough piece of sandpaper, but sometimes you need that to smooth down the wood. I'm going to send her a supportive text message on the PCD. 'Karen. You see things others don't. I know you may not think highly of my opinion, but I think highly of yours. I hope you know this isn't me taking you out for a lark, I mean this. Your alien theory is probably the most likely behind my thoughts we are in purgatory and I think you saw that something strange was going on before anyone else. Stay strong. I support you.' There, that will be a good pick-me-up, I hope.

Inola however, is still a doubting Thomas when it comes to spiritualism. Which is odd considering what we have been through the past few weeks. C'mon mate, anything is possible. You literally claim to have time traveled to have taken over my body which I remember having. How do you think that happened but you don't think anything I talk about is real? Why is your magic better than my magic? The wisdom of the world around us is beyond anything we can ever express in words and sometimes things don't make sense. Being one of the final contestants is bonkers. Everyone seemed to not consider me a threat, and that includes me. I don't know if I really even want to win. It would be nice, but that isn't the same thing as wanting something. I don't know if I ever wanted to win. I even wonder what I would do with the money if I won it. There are lots of options. I don't think we're tied down to what we said at the start of the contest. Maybe I would want to throw a big party.

Keep getting the feeling we are all dead and this is not real life. We are but ghosts walking the paths of those that came before us. Also, wouldn't that be trippy? It would be really interesting at least. I mean, it's about as likely as aliens and I tend to think aliens are pretty likely these days. Also, I am glad to hear Karen's voice again. Everyone thinks she's got something wrong with her mind but I think she tends to see things others miss. She may sometimes interpret that in a strange way, but she's very observant.

WOWZA! Final three? Me? I'm humbled and grateful and baffled. I think I may be even more excited for my girl, Azar. She wants to win more than I ever did. And she deserves it! I know she'll do great things with the money... and probably help others with our dreams, too, if we ask nicely. She's a sweetheart, even if she seems to have a tough exterior.
