Been in conversations with other Axie managers and what can I say - it is saddening. Not because the income has been slashed for everyone but because of the effects of falling SLP price to scholars and new managers:

1. Scholars are underperforming - some are just trying to meet the bare minimum for the day. We also find scholars that do not even bother to spend all their account's energy. This is the problem with most scholars to which I tell mine - have an entrepreneur mindset and not an employee mindset. Treat your scholarships as a business rather than employment. Save your SLP if not urgently needed and trust in the process. We are building long-term here.

2. Scholars are quitting and worse not even opening their accounts for days - some scholars decided to quit their scholarship programs because of the low SLP price. I can't totally blame them but think of this - even if it is a centavo, the fact that you are earning something by mere playing a game? It's not bad of a deal. There are also some scholars that have decided to play other play to earn games which is not a problem but then Axie Infinity is still the pioneer and most stable NFT game out there. I myself invested on other games and coins too but a big chunk of my portfolio is in Axie Infinity.

3. New managers are deciding to give up and liquidate. This is really sad and relatable. We took a risk and that's it. Again in crypto, invest what you can only afford to lose.

I have some scholars already quitting and maybe some more of them in the near future. Am I sad? Yes, BUT NOT FOR ME. The demand for scholarships are still far greater than scholars. I am sad because these people are wasting an opportunity that only business minded people and investors know.

This is what I say to leaving scholars - we're sad that you're going but we'll be more sad if months from now we'll see you spamming Good Day Manager everywhere in Facebook looking for a scholarship when you already had one before.
